  1. I always did it the other way. Maters on bottom. But as purdy as them are...
  2. You're comfortable saying the most oddball crap. This is no stretch .
  3. And how many times over the years have I said this on those stupid gigging threads!!!
  4. You didn't grill that corn??
  5. You can't have a beautiful place setting like that, a high end meal of that caliber and it with a "y'all"!
  6. Boy I dunno. Saying that on the Meramec page may get your face on a milk carton.
  7. It has nothing to do with you or even that body of water. Occasionally a spotted and Smallmouth will fall in love and raise a family. Spotted bass racists loose their minds and want all spotted bass murdered for sleeping with their daughter.
  8. Check with your local agent and see if thats the hours he puts in. Invite one to your yearly MSA bash the MDC meetings and grill him. Or her.
  9. So do we have to start trying to decimate the bluegill population like we do the Spots??
  10. I need to get one of those jobs!
  11. And yet here you are
  12. I'll buzz in and out from time to time
  13. I'm back. For a minute anyway. I went out on a limb and decided to grill some avocados to make a guacamole dip. That is a game changer! The next time you make some guacamole, I urge you to grill them for a few minutes first! I also have some that I have smoked, but I haven't tried them just yet. I will let you know how that turns out also.
  14. 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup pineapple juice 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoons ketchup 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger 1 teaspoon sesame oil, I left this out. 1 teaspoon Sriracha, I left this out. Marinate over night. I'm going to inject it also next time.
  15. Prom pic
  16. Today we're going in a little different direction. I am normally one to follow the time honored standards of regular smoked or bbq chicken. But my beautiful daughter Sierra was in the mood for some Hawaiian style chicken. What my daughter wants my daughter gets! Usually. Sometimes. Most of the time. Who am I kidding! So I got out of my box and done some research and said here we go. I found a recipe that I thought sounded intriguing marinated the chicken breast overnight and grilled them today. I'm thinking I need to step out of my box more often!
  17. New page
  18. Like the original album cover to Street Survivors.
  19. Well, would you just look at that beautiful smoke job on that bacon! Its simply breathtaking!
  20. I shall remain silent
  21. Jalapeño popper stuffed bacon wrapped chicken breast. Smoked of course.
  22. Not weird at all. I'm in the same boat. Bought some pickle popsicle one time. Good but way too salty. I'm also a fan of the S&V!! The most pungent I ever have was during a short stint when I lived in Las Vegas around 1990. There was a company, Vegas Chips, that made a S&V chip that the vinegar would burn your tongue! That was the first ever S&V chip I had even heard of. Then a bit later Frito-Lay came out with their version. After eating the Vegas Chips, it was so lame, I never bought another bag!
  23. Odd ball time. Holy cow! Smoked pickles are freaking awesome! I smoked these about 45 minutes or so. You can't really tell by the pic, but they started turning and were just starting to dry out. So I pulled them. I let them cool just a second and tried one. This is a pickle game changer! I can think of a ton of applications this will work great in. I put the rest in a sandwich bag will see how well an over night stay in the fridge does. I will definitely be doing this again!
  24. Hey!!! You're not allowed there!!! Thats my territory! If you look at the correct bluff, you'll see this.
  25. So I used a jalapeño nacho sauce. It's a very kid friendly sauce. But boy let me tell you! Smoking it must have unleashed the hounds! The heat really intensified! Here is the finished product.
