  1. In more ways that one. All accidents are not preventable. Every one of these were preventable thus not an accident. And as a side note. You ever take a look at the women in the adversiment above? I sure would like to see the rest of the picture of that blond in the red top, third from the left.
  2. Or accidentally impaled with a hook.
  3. What do you have against the Edumnd Fitzgerald?
  4. I'm surprised they still come to your meetings.
  5. I like this one. You know, with all the highly trained, responsible..... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/19/gun-show-shootings_n_2513057.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmaing9%7Cdl2%7Csec1_lnk1%26pLid%3D259442
  6. Yeah but this is much more interesting than "I have to have a 30 round clip to kill mutiple deer at one time to fill all of my tags." "I have to have a 30 round clip so squirrels will rain from the trees with my AR." "I have to have a 30 round clip to kill Prairie Dogs even though I have never been" Ethics be are for wimps! And apparently so are skills. You don't think the scientist that have dedicated their lives to preserving the resources of this state don't have any idea of how things could be? Instead of constantly berating them, did anybody stand up as ask if there was a possiblity of closing SBBSMA's to gigging? And fishing has improved. But I also think it is time we take it beyond fishing regulations and start working on habitat improvement. You can have all the regulations regarding fishing you want but, if you don't have proper habitat, you won't have fish. I think the vast majority have come around. C&R is much more prevalent than it was even 10 years ago. Could we raise the length limits on river fish? I think so. How much would it help? It would certainly increase the population.
  7. Or the question could be, why should the wants of a few trump the rights of the many? Either way though, it doesn't effect me.
  8. I think they do. They have had SBBSMA's in place for multiple generations of smallmouth and yet the numbers have not increased to "trophy" "world class" status. You have said it yourself and I have too, the Ozarks may just not be cabable of producing large numbers of 18+ inch smallmouth.
  9. They don't grow any slower than other bass species. They all have about the same growth rate. I love eating smallmouth. I had a mess of them just last night. This morning I am using the leftovers for my famous Smallmouth omelette. OH man are they good!
  10. I did notice that too Wayne. I wondered to myself if he was aware of what was beyond the tree??? I assumed he did.
  11. I liked it. You seem pretty hand with the camera and editing too.
  12. Can you play a fiddle? Let us know when you get down here and we'll hook for some fishing!
  13. But isn't that now a right? Rights before life or life before rights?
  14. So what is your stance on abortion?
  15. Well it took longer than I expected but this discussion has now turned to ridiculousness and is now not a discussion.
  16. The only bolt action that is used in the military now, that I know of, is for sniper fire. Does that make a .22 bolt action military style? Me thinks not. The .22 and the rifles above were designed for hunting game not humans.
  17. I think the season is closed Justin. You may want to check on that first.
  18. I think so. I also notice we don't "multi quote" anymore. I really liked that option. I don't have the emoticons either. All kinds of funny stuff happening now. Yeah. On a side by side comparison, you could argue they are many. But on a whole, not much. Our government does not manufacture anything. Except currency. Everything else is manufactured by private companies. Military weapon, assault weapons, Military style weapon, whatever you want to call them, they were designed specifically for one purpose, to kill humans. They were not designed for traditional hunting only. And lets not try fool one another in the difference. My question is what is the need/purpose of a "military style" weapon?
  19. Since I don't start any topics, or post anything positive, I humbly submit this for your viewing pleasure
  20. Eureka! I know how to slove this! Build our schools like prisons! All public building like prisons! Any place that has a high concentration of people. 20ft tall fences topped with concertina wire. One way in, one way out. Bars on the narrow windows.
  21. One notable difference though is that driving is a privilege and not a right. The only way to loose your right to your guns is to become a felon. You can loose your privilege to drive for many reasons, temporarily or forever.
  22. Ummmm, that wasn't my quote. Don't know why you put my name in the quote.
  23. I think I posted earlier, that I don't know that anything can be done. I am not so sure that we are not stuck with what we have. But then again, like the DWI thing, there is a starting point somewhere. One other question....how do republican congressmen get lifetime "A" ratings from the NRA??? How much do they cost??
