You are aware that the prez doesn't make the laws, he signs them into law. Meaning that your beloved republican party was writing the rules from 1994 to 2006. That is not to say he does not have some influence but, not total control. And from 2000 top 2006 it was total control. Rubber stamp.

Don't you find it odd that nobody is saying a word about how he is a professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, holding the title of Distinguished Professor. I think it got pushed to the center stage because she is trying to become the VP. Its shows the same patteren of abuse of power as is currently used by our sitting Vice Prez. And Prez too really. Taxi can you find for me how many were killed and injured in any of those bombings? I can't seem to find that anywhere. You must have some information that I don't know of. Or anybody for that matter.
-
That is all fine and dandy that you want to point fingers but, you really need to take a hard, unbiased look, at what has happened from 2000 to 2006.

In my opinon that is not an example of flip flopping. Changing plugs to catch fish is just that. Changing. Flip flopping is to change your view or stance for political, monetary or some such gain. I will and freely admit that I do change my mind if I find that someone else has or something else is better for me. But I will not flip flop just to gain friends, money or what have you.

Did I author that article? Did I attack him? No, I posted a link to an article that tells the truth. I can't help that you choose to stick your heads up each others butts and give each other high fives for what you say about me. I am not the one that has lost any credibility. I just post facts. Like I said in an earlier post, I will one of the few that posts about this election that will be making an informed choice. I realize that as it nears closer to the election, and your HERO, a term which is so widly used now days that it has become a generic term to describe most anything, looks as if he may loose, you feel the need to get more and more vious. I am just glad that I can be here for you.

Wow! And then you want to apologize for ranting. I don't think so. Call me and the magazine what you want but: 1. I have not flip flopped on anything 2. If the article was not true and since you put that publication on the same level of reporting as the National Enquirer, then, as has been done with the Enquirer, why haven't they been sued for liable? 3. The only reason you are ranting against this post is because of the truth coming out about your candidate. 4. I wonder how many people here read the article? The entire article? 5. Much like Taxi and bigbird, it is all fun and games to slam Obama but, post the printed truth about McCain, which if you will notice, that article referenced McCains book written by McCain quite often, you people go nuts. 6. In the inevitable words of Jack Nicholson, "You can't handle the truth!"

I thought you were a lawn engineer? I don't know what you do in the coal biz but, you are aware that there are only two railroads that provide service to the Powder River Coal Basin? You do know which two they are? You are aware that of those two they only average in the neighborhood of 45 to 50 trains a day each? That is loaded trains. Therefore there is only about 100 loaded (on a good day) trains aday coming from Wyoming?

Same babble different day. This is a classic example of why no one attempts to debate with you. As for sources, are you disputing the validity of what the person wrote?
-

Hey Al, I have been to Wyoming but, not to the coal fields. Here is a little something to toss around. When they were first exploited on a grand scale starting in the 1970's it was claimed that there was a 600+ year supply of coal. Now at current production rates, that has been cut to around 200 years the last I heard. Now think of this. Every time you see a coal train coming down the rail, that is a mile + or -, of coal about 11 feet deep. The coal trains of today are mostly in the neighborhood of 135 cars. 6000 + feet of Wyoming terra firma. Now just imagin about 100 of these PER DAY coming from there. We may not have coal, but what about lead? I know, or the last I heard was, that the Pea Ridge mine is shut down but what about the others? There was another large one around Salem that is also shut down too isn't it???? In my corner of the state all the lead is gone.

You bet we will Wily. mhall02 - No trout on this run. We were close to Neosho but above Hickory Creek which does contribute a few trout to Shoal. I know where you are talking about and know a couple of spots in that area that could produce a trout or two.

Well, I have been asking for, is your source to this comment: " What policy makers really want is massive changes in our freedoms and if you don't believe that then drink Kool Aide and vote Obama." This now is the 5th time I have asked for them. Nice stall tatic.
-
I am looking for your source to the above babble. Sorry about that, I ment to say claim. Your source for the above claim. I forgot that you are now sensitive to remarks like that. The sources you linked are not policy makers. Please reread Al's post. Good, common sense post there.
-
I haven't seen your sources yet?????????? You may want to start limiting you time on the computer since you claim we are going to have electric restrictions. I am still waiting to read your source for that too.
-
I second thought,I really like bacon and bbq ribs and ham sammiches and pulled pork and bbqed pork steak and pork chops and......we better make that a couple or 5 hogs.
-
I don't babble. Where are your "policy makers of GW" sources? If I grow my own beef, which should only be about, maybe 2 and a hog thrown in, I don't think much will be said. Now as for resturants.....that is a cow of a different color.

I thought that sounded like a cool name. Our get together this weekend for a group float was a hit. I am sorry I can't provide any pics but, my batteries were dead. We all met at Cherry Corner at 900 and began a great day of fishing and floating. Everybody caught fish. Our worries for having enough goggle eye to cook were put to rest when we stopped to eat. There was somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 or 20 nice goggle eyes caught just there. Buzz caught one just shy of a pound. Dylan hooked a really nice bass just minutes into the float. It would have been the biggest of his short career so far. I estimate it to be in the 4lb range. He got wrapped in some brush right at the boat and I jumped into get it but, before I got to him, he gave Dylan back his wiggle wart. DANG! CDC caught a nice bass just after we left from lunch. Fishin's brother hooked a really nice 14 or 15 inch brownie while we were eating lunch but, it also came off at the bank. It was a great float with great company and great food. I can't wait to do it again.
-
Yeah, please explain your babbling about "restrictions on lifestyle choices like meat and dairy". And please provide your source that Obama is trying to restrict it. I haven't seen this bill in the house or senate. After that, we shall move to the electric restrictions.
-
Hey Fishhand, can you just imagin all the crying and whining that will be going on when Obama wins in November? What you have been reading so far is NOTHING compared to what you are about to read. I can't wait to read some of that incoherent babble.
-
Yep me too. I got a 24 pack of hotdogs today, so you boys better be hungry!! I have three hotdog sticks too. Not today, I had them. Sorry you can't make it Wily. But there will be a next time, you can bank on that. I am already thinking about doing a float in jan or Feb and bringing the stock pot to cook some chili or stew in along the way. How great that would be if we had a snow on the ground!!!
-
Hey, way to go there TB. Like the pics too. Keep posting.
-
We also got 3.5 inches in the Neosho area. Should be able to do some fishing by this weekend. Water may be just a little high but should be cleared up nicely.

Judicial Ruling Stops Cafo Construction In Missouri
Chief Grey Bear replied to wily's topic in Conservation Issues
Interesting way to state that Taxi. I would like to know your source of information on that as I would like to research it. From what I can understand from your statement, it sounds as if some fertilizer company is purchasing the sludge from a municipality and transporting to Little Rock. If that is so, that is one heck of a long way to transport human sludge that could be accumulated from sources much closer than what you are stating.
