I can't attest to how they do it on LOZ/Truman but I can say in all of the years that I fished Grand and Table Rock I never saw a dead Spoonbill. Doesn't mean there wasn't one here or there but you would have thought in 30 years of fishing those lakes during and after the snagging season I would have seen at least one.

Why don't you try it and have Ronnie snap the pic. Maybe get some of them spoonbill stomping inbreds to help. I'm wiriry ya know.

I don't know who you ever snagged with, or even watched while being out there during the snagging season, but I have never in my life seen anybody do any of the absurdity that you are saying happens to every spoonbill. I understand trying to make a point but this is beyond ridiculous.

Really? They harvested hundres of pounds of roe for who knows how many years. If you think they got busted on their first sale your delusional. He deserved everything he got and more! Unlike you, I have zero sympathy for those that steal wildlife and steal it for profit. I suppose if some one swipes your boat and all your fishing gear it's ok? No big deal, they'll make more and you can just replace it.

I assuming you are speaking of game fish poaching. I'd bet if gamefish populations were the same as Elk in this state, they would be. I remember a couple of years ago a guy that had been poaching spoonbill, thousands of them, got caught and some here thought it was ridiculous that he was punished for it.
