Hit the river this weekend for a little solo trip. Water was just gorgeous. It was a beautiful day that wasn't too hot. Used a variety of baits. Well mainly just three different cranks and Ned. Gave Ned the first shot at every hole. And boy did he produce!

When you get your care package from the CSA, substitute something for the cukes. I'll bet it'll be just as good.

The interesting part for me was in what all she claimed was a navigable waterway. The rest of the drivel was the just the use of a lot of adjectives to enhance her political spin.

I absolutely cringe when I see bass of any species on a stringer from the river. Not so much from a lake. Totally different population densities. But I'm no fan of them beating around live well all day to be released after you get your check. Or even if you don't.

And it raises exponentially on tournament fish.
