Hit the river this weekend for a little solo trip.
Water was just gorgeous. It was a beautiful day that wasn't too hot.
Used a variety of baits. Well mainly just three different cranks and Ned.
Gave Ned the first shot at every hole.
And boy did he produce!
Right here I thought you had made cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes.
Well I did.
1/4 c AC vinegar
2 TSB oil
1tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dill
1/4 tsp pepper
I wasn't going to post these due to when posting pics from phones, they have a tendency to rotate.
But I'm going to anyway.
Took these with the phone cam.
Not as good as those posted here but, not too bad for an ol river whore like me.
The interesting part for me was in what all she claimed was a navigable waterway.
The rest of the drivel was the just the use of a lot of adjectives to enhance her political spin.
I found Vicky's statement on what a Navigable Waterway interesting.

Hardworking Missouriansparticularly those living in agricultural regionsare already familiar with the disturbing Waters of the United States rule. This rule twists the 1972 Clean Water Act to define navigable waterway as any stream, creek, or ditch with water that might eventually make its way into an actual navigable waterway. Farmers and livestock producers across Missouri are outraged they will need permission from a Washington bureaucrat to work their land.
I absolutely cringe when I see bass of any species on a stringer from the river.
Not so much from a lake. Totally different population densities.
But I'm no fan of them beating around live well all day to be released after you get your check. Or even if you don't.
