  1. Ness, I have to most respectfully and vigorously disagree with your assessment of Ron's postings. I don't think he was crying wolf so much as he was keeping us all abreast of latest happenings and WHAT COULD HAPPEN if we did not use our constitutional right to voice our concern. To go along with the analogy of crying wolf, ask a tornado survivor if they will ever dismiss the sirens blaring? Luckily in my lifetime I have never had to endure a tornado personally. But every time those warnings come on the television or the sirens go off I am acutely aware of what is going on and I stay abreast of the latest news. Is the weatherman crying wolf? I don't think so. I think he just tells me everything he knows. And who was the first one in trouble if they wouldn't post a tornado warning and one popped up? The Joplin tornado was not supposed to happen. And for the first two or three years afterwards, they were still dogging on the weatherman for not predicting it and warning them. Well sometimes there is just not time. Thank God for people like Ron that diligently and tirelessly let everyone know what is going on when it comes to our legislators and our beloved outdoors. I to at one time was posting a lot of these bills coming up and I stopped because nobody here seem to care and I thought I was wasting my time. And about that time Ron showed back up on the forum here and I am ever so glad he did! He has taken the lead and taking charge on passing along this vital information. Again Ness, I mean no disrespect. I'm just offering my side and my view of the circumstances and situations. And I thank you again for mentioning my name even though I like the newspaper they got it wrong. But it's the loving thought that counts.
  2. I can't respond anymore. I don't want you thinking I like you.
  3. Look what I found today Randy!
  4. I belive you came to my hole.
  5. Your lack of reading comprehension is showing through again. And to resort to name calling is very lowbrow. To explain the difference to you, I said your comment was ignorant. And you read it as I was calling you ignorant. So you inturn call me ignorant. But at any rate, your jealousy for the J-Rig is extremely evident! And understandably so. We took what you and your elite group thought to be the very best fishing lure known to man and made it better! Perfected it! It's masterful success cannot be denied!
  6. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, however wrong and ignorant it may be. And to further display your apparent lack of reading comprehension, I have stated here on this forum on many occasions that yes I use the Ned and have for many decades.
  7. Not looking for flattery. Just trying help people catch more fish. If you don't want to catch more fish, that's just crazy! This will instantly turn those 3,000 fish years into 9,000 fish years!! But don't fish it!!! It won't work!!!!
  8. I am greatly surprised Chuck and Dave haven't commented here. Maybe too much Shock and Awe. I'm sure word has reached Ned that there is massive damage control to be delt with.
  9. Oh you bet! You are welcome any time! Next time we'll get in a better trip and better stretch of water.
  10. That sounds like a great invention OP! We might just have to hook up!
  11. Numbers baby! The skill of a fisherman is based in the number of fish he catches per day. What we have done is taken proven technology and refined it to its absolute maximum perfection. The one you see here is the river version. We also have a lake version. It is larger and will actually catch 5 times the fish the Ned will but it is outlawed in Missouri. The river version may be outlawed soon also. It's that good!
  12. I have toyed with the idea of smoking eggs for the last couple of years. I just never tried it. You two jumping on this with such enthusiasm has rekindled that flame! Man those look good!! But my first thought is a smoked egg salad sandwich! And I already make a smoked potato salad, I just don't out eggs in it. But....I may just have to add some of these!
  13. If you have a Sutherland's, check them too. That is where I found mine. Addicting no??
  14. Pickled JalapeƱo juice works great too!!
  15. Next time you finish a jar of your favorite pickles, put a half dozen boiled eggs in. Wait about 2 weeks, if you can, and enjoy!
  16. Jealously is envy. Sucks when somebody takes an old bait, allegedly makes it better and puts their name on it. But that is how we keep the market moving forward. Jump on or jump out of the way.
  17. Here are the first preliminary pictures of the J-Rig! The J-Rig will catch up to 3 times the fish that the little Ned will. When rigged with the Jerm Werm, the J-Rig will out preform any bait! Unlike the Ned though, you will not need any special equipment. Any Rod and reel will do. Any line will too. I would recommend using at lest 10lb test though!
  18. Probably just the normal MDC bashing as is every year.
  19. Not a one! In fact I've gotten to where I make these when the family is not around! I still buy store-bought chips, but making homemade is really the only way to go! Screw Lay's, home of the perfect, flavorless chip. I like cooking mine just a little longer. That brown is flavor! You ever make any?
  20. Yes sir indeed
  21. Nothing fancy for sure. Just some good ol' tater chips. Turned sideways. Thanks iPhone!
  22. Think of it like this. Football. You are a woman representing the bass. One is the NFL. The other is NCAA. Both are the same. Both run the same plays. One apparently does it better. The woman can't tell the difference.
  23. Ned seems to think Chuck invented everything. Other than Neds account, I can find no evidence that Chuck did indeed invent the Beetle Spin. Every bit of evidence points to Virgil Ward. All of the players of the game have passed on so its pretty though to discount it. Other than all written history points to the other players.
