  1. Do or have any of you bought your tomatoes, peppers or such from Wal-Mart? I won't lie, I have been known to get a couple every now and then. I have just never been satisfied with them. I just wonders what your thoughts and or experiences were.
  2. Yeah 4# is not big for a lake, but not shabby like you say. I don't know anyone that wouldn't be happy with those. I thought from the way you guy's talked you should have about 15 or 20 of them in the boat. Are they skillet bound? I'll bring the taters and Pork N Beans!
  3. Now don't quote me but I thought that store at the corner of Bannister and Blue Ridge, right in front of Price Chopper, did that.
  4. Oh you know me, I just wing it. Congratulations. I hope it works out well for you. I used to like salted baits but have since turned away from them. I could never get myself to keep them seperate from my hooks. And we all know what that does. You remember back and you would be going down the road and you would see a Dead Head sticker on a car? Well, if you ever see one that says Ned Head, that'll be me. Honk and we'll have a beer.
  5. Not bad. Can't tell if it was on a Ned or not. I have niether. I don't even really fish.
  6. Where are all of the big fish pics you claim to be catching with the Ned?
  7. Was I supposed to watch all of those videos? You do sell Ned jigs though correct? Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just puts it in perspective. I agree on the craw. For other reasons too. I'm more old school. Those are a little futuristic for me. Zman is a little pricey for me. I'm a cheapass
  8. Thanks Randy! If you both say it's good, that's good enough for me! Out of Chi town huh?? Where do you find it locally? Can't say I've seen them around.
  9. I'd really like to try it. And if I find it in a store, I might. But boy, they are really proud of by looking at the price on their site!
  10. I'm pretty sure they couldn't use his name without his permission and sending a check every so often. But at any rate, I asked about the Ned specifically. Not Finesse or Mid-West Finesse. If someone askes, I'll be sure to offer some insight on what to throw. But I guess since I'm not hocking anything, I'm not adamantly pushing only one option to use.
  11. So now finesse fishing is Ned rig? I noticed in all three of those advertisements for Ned that you posted the term Ned rig was never used. Is he now encompassing all of fitness fishing under his umbrella?
  12. I refer you to Ronnies post.
  13. I have a question about the Ned. From reading week after week after week on the superior greatness of the Ned and how many fish it catches including large fish, are any pro anglers using this on the circuit? Has any Pro won a tournament with it? Has the Ned put any pro tournament angler in the money?
  14. There is no controversy. People just get sick of hearing about it every day.
  15. Hey there BH, from reading here, I gather you enjoy making and sharing BBQ sauce. I'm the same way. I go through Nevada on Mondays and Thursday's. Usually between 10 and noon. I wouldn't mind swapping bottles with you if you were agreeable. Sorry Ness, I don't go your way anymore. But I still owe you a lunch!!
  16. My wife used to think she hated black-eyed peas too! And then she tried mine one day and has liked them ever since. I don't do anything special. All I do is fry up some bacon and onions together and once done I put them in the Black eyed peas. Salt-and-pepper to taste and presto perfection! And I may have simple taste but the canned black-eyed peas taste just as good as those that I make myself. Save yourself a little time and frustration and just open a can! Now as far as cakes, have any you ever made a cake with a can of pop? Like strawberry cake with a can of strawberry pop? That is the bomb!!
  17. That looks awesome!! I can smell it through the screen!
  18. I'm going the cheap today as well, just not quite as cheap as BH. Pork Steak, twice grilled taters, pasta salad, grilled bread.
  19. I'm with you on the yolks! But I put mine on top of some O'brien style hashbrowns! Western Skillet style. I will also confess to putting ketchup in brown beans as a kid. But not very often. And not in the last 40 years. That's where the cornbread goes.
  20. As simple as the Ned itself. But then again we have about 50 pages of that.
  21. I don't dissagree. But I refer you to:
  22. I've fished that lake since the 70's. CC is all I've ever heard and I'm only an hour away.
  23. I think the politic thread was DOA
  24. That is not really the case here. But at any rate, most usually just post a link to the thread. Maybe Phil can provide a forum just for "The Ned"? And then these fine brothers of nature can continue with their giddiness of over analyzing, over engineering and just plain old over doing it all in the name of Ned!
