You may want to sign up on some more social media sites. They are both getting pounded. In fact stretches of every creek in this area is getting a ton more pressure than I ever thought! I was shocked at what all I was reading. At least I'm seeing a trend to C&R. But I'm seeing stringers too.

Electro sampling is not the tell all. At best it gives a very dim light, so to speak, into a lightless room. But it does give highly valuable information, especially when done over a period of years. The effectivness of this type sampling is very limited in scope but does give insight to the whole. The electro field is small and usually gets 10% or less of the fish in any given area. And at that, large fish are able to escape the field. And the effectiveness can even be affected by those doing the sampling. Some samplers are better at it than others. You state that you bet there are 100 12 inch Smallmouth in a 1 mile stretch. I'll tell you there are 3-4 times that amount. It's a shock and amazement to learn what all a stream supports!

But it's never happened. There is not one stream in the state that has been striped by giggers. Nobody does anymore.

We keep hearing that but the results keep saying otherwise. Not arguing, just not seeing any definite proof.

Not saying they don't. There are far more fish taken legally and illegally by rod and reels than there are at the end of a stick. But you keep on with the east side. Many thousand of miles of fishable water that ain't giggable.

This is just one of many examples of why I say rod and reel fishermen both legal and poachers due far more damage than giggers. I'd lay good money that 99% of the poachers go unnoticed.

I agree school lunch should be free for all. If the district had problems with funding for lunch, raise the price of entry to sporting events to $5. It's been like $3 since Hector was a pup. Trim some of those field trips. You don't have to take a trip every week. And I know there was a lot of grief when Michelle Obama tweaked lunches to make them healthier. I liked that. But most lunch programs made it even worse by not hiring cooks that knew how to cook. It has been proven over and over that you can make great tasting lunches that kids will eat using the exact same ingredients. You just need a leader that knows how to cook. Is there not any criteria for hiring cooks at school?

70 to 80 percent free lunch in a bright red, glowing red, state where nobody sponges off the government because we are to proud, get a better job, get a second job, stop working fast food at minimum wage, staunch conservatives and all of the bs rhetoric. I'll stop here.
