I'm heading down Friday to Lilley's and for the first bringing the boat. I usually flyfish below the dam but will have inlaws and wife in the boat. What jigs do I need to tie up, color, size. What is the most simple way for them to catch fish. I usually C&R most fish. Any help wold be great.
Thanks
Randy
The wife and I stayed there a couple years ago on a fri sat. trip. Only used it for sleeping and found it a little noisy for us till about 3 Am. Also being downwind of the wackey weed smoke helped us understand the reason. I never complained to anybody, just havent been back. My 2 cents take it for what its worth.

PS; It was very entertaining though, maybe it wasen't that we couldn't sleep but didn't want to
Some mornings and every evening fishing by the dam I experence my glasses fogging up. I wear action optics glasses, their top of the line. It is a pain to fight that during a peak time to fish. Dont know if there is a trick or a product everybody uses or am I the only one. You guys on the water all the time help me out.
Thanks
Randy
At the last second the wife wants to go to Branson, were gona stay at Taneycomo resort next week And I think its close to the Roark creek area. Never fished this area before, any tips would help. I usally Flyfish below the dam and I think wade fishing is out of the question by the resort. I promised her the car to shop if I can stay on the lake. I'll fish a couple nights at the dam but the rest of the time around the resort. I'm open for ideas.
Thanks

I just received 7 duck skins from a friend and would like to know what to save. Also maybe a web site or article that discribes the areas on the duck which they are found.
Randy
Went there today, started at 7:00 and fished till 1:00. Water was high and dingy. Fishing was fair, caught 9. Scuds and beadhead nymphs, nothing on top.
Never seen the stream with that much color.
I'm looking to buy a few of his books and was wondering if most of his patterns apply to midwest and ozark area's. Some book's I've bought have flies that dont apply to the area.

The weather was warm, mostly sunny, and windy. The spring was low and clear. I fished from 11:30 till 3:30.
Considering my pathetic casting ability C&R 9 rainbows was pretty good for me. I caught 7 on a orange and peach glowbug and 2 on a tan scud. I seen about 15 others in the park fishing. This was my first C&R fishing trip and it was nice not to be elbow to elbow.
