Ok Guys, Here is the real story. The boat ramp is closed and in need of repairs. As you can see by the new marina money is not the issue. Now about the new "Fall Creek Marina". This marina will be 100% ADA compliant; It has two handi-cap bathrooms on the dock with hot and cold running water. It has handi-cap fishing areas with handi-cap cleaning stations. We will also have a handi-cap lift the assist wheelchair bound customer into our rental boats. According to the builders, this is the new standard in the city limits. This will insure the docks don't sink or roll over like in the last ice storm. All slips are close to 10' and will be extremely well padded with multiple roller at the ends of the walkways and a standard roller each well divider and all slips will be well padded. The well divider will have multiple vertical pads to insure small boats like the river jon's that the local fishing camps have will be safe while in the slips. Each slip will have it's own ladder and grab rail to exit the slip and we will provide a retractable extention cord at every slip. There will be a safety ladder at the end of the dock just in case someone takes a dip. Handi-cap parking at the top with easy access to the dock and all facilities. Courtsey parking with electrical hook-ups for your boat or trailers. Our marine gas will contain no Ethoneal and Yamalube oil will be available. As far as the colors, they are company branded colors. The colors might not appeal to you, however you will grow to reconize these colors because when you see them you know you will receive a friendly smile, warm welcome, fresh hot coffee and "Outstanding Customer Service". We are open to the public and will be looking foward to see everyone again on the lake. We are shooting for the 1st of July 2010. The same staff is there and will be doing every thing possible to build the business back to where it was before the flood.
