I still use the Vortex expanders to 3", and I got enough to last my lifetime. If you see them buy them. They will cut a leg off of a deer with a heart shot, I never have to worry about that quarter of the deer.. When I bought mine they were very expensive, even in the early 90's, I don't think they are in bus anymore..

Those Z's are fine, I like my 8'6" 4wt 4pc

I went across the dam today at 2 PM and they weren't blowing any water as of yet.

All I did was squash this year (and it's been great), all my friends that did tomatoes & green peppers are saying the same things that's been said above. I think it was just to wet early on. Maybe next year for me. Squash mix, equal parts of sugar & white flower in a baggie then (fried in veg oil) perfect to the grave..

I've used Vortex blades for years they are mechanicals & open up to 3", I don't think they are even in busness anymore. They were high priced 15 years ago @ $5 bucks a piece. I still have 10 of them left. I've hit deer in the neck on very close shots and almost take there heads off.
