This is true. Supposedly people went in and Winterized what they could before Winter. There was some lights on in a couple of Trailers but no more. I figure Electric company cut off Electricity. There was Lights on in front of the Restaurant, not sure if they are still on or not. There was a Big For Sale Sign up in front of one Trailer, it is no longer up. There is a bunch of trash just outside the Restaurant. Like I say if the Buyer took over and everything was a go they would be getting at least some of it set up for the Opening. So far Tape is across the drives and Signs are up like they was before. It's a shame and just don't look right. oneshot

Truth in last several months I have seen fewer Otters. What gets me they expanded the Hatchery, I could see holding Fish until this was complete but they have not brought Stocking up to what they did before working on the Hatchery. What I really find interesting at start of last season for couple weeks caught much Larger Rainbows than I ever had then couldn't really catch any of size. big rockpile

Heck of it is they are not stocking fish in the river either oneshot

Was down there last Saturday. Park Ranger made couple Guys move closer to the river and quit casting towards the Wooden Bridge. Told me he seen me do it he would give me a Ticket. We was fishing for Goggle Eye. Had an Agent want to write me a Ticket one time on the river for killing a Snapping Turtle but because I was going to eat it he didn't. oneshot

Like I say we have a Small Cabin up there. It is paid for. We are building on, have Material here and up there. Got a nice place here and go up there every so often, hang out around the Lake and Warsaw. oneshot

Thing is I have a Bad credit Report because I paid all my Loans off early. At the time I didn't realize it would have this effect. Plus getting a Loan on Raw Land is harder with a Bank. I figure it worked out for the best. I'll have to Drive Pickup or Boat a little further but I can still hunt and fish the same area. oneshot

Ok we already have a Small Lot with Cabin by Fairfield Ramp. Found 4 1/2 acres South of there. Owner Finance $18K, 10% Interest for 20 years, $1K down. Pretty High $$ but thought hey more room and area I go to most time anyway. We went looked at it today, drove down rough Drive, went past Trailer with Trash piled up all around it. Before we was trying to figure why this hadn't sold, decided this was probably it. Come to dirt, muddy Trail, ok no big deal we have lived with worse for years, deal with it, keeps unwanteds out. Get back to the property, all we thought it would be. My wife had us already moving there. Get home call the Guy tell him we wanted it. Make arraignments to make Down Payment and closing. He then informs us in about 3 weeks would close at that time we will have to come up with $300-$400 for Closing Cost ????? Like I told my wife forget this, every time I have Sold or Bought property the Seller paid Closing. There is no way we already have our Cabin up there, just use the money to work on it. Lord just looking out for me. If it was to be it would. I like our Little Cabin and enjoy staying there, never had a problem. oneshot

Ok I have looked at Maps that show the Channel and it surprises me how much it changes. Thinking if I can afford GPS will help a bunch but Map is better than nothing now. We got up where Pomme de Terre comes in, where we was thought the Channel would be straight after getting in there found we was in a Stump Field, found the Channel went to the right. Lake Level went down, we went to the same area and seen the mess we had went through before. There was no way we would have thought about it if we had known. Speaking of Pomme de Terre Arm we like playing over there problem is all the Timber. We go from Fairfield Ramp back around or try putting in at Avery gets interesting. Use to put in at Sapps Landing got to where I found pretty good path through a stretch of it. We put in one time at Avery, went out using Trolling Motor, wind came up, it was too much for my Trolling Motor so we used Main Motor, got up on a stump put the Boat up on its side. My wife had a few things to say about that. LOL Wanting to spend more time and get confident to go through some areas in the dark and yes common sense says take it slow. oneshot

Ok how do you get around some places with heavy Timber? I get to some places I think should be Channel only to find it is 20 yards over. My Boat is a 18/60 Aluminum Jon, with Tunnel and Stainless Steal Prop. Usually I get in tight places and just take my time and still bust a snag every so often. oneshot
