Ok I know if I have too much Fish have a Fish Fry. I have 6 Kids, if I invite all over for anything like this one shows up. It is just me and my wife a lot of our meat comes from the woods and streams. We raise Chickens and Rabbits. I keep talking with my wife about setting out Set Lines, Gigging or Grabbing. She says why waste time getting gear for this when you catch more than enough with Rod and Reel. Plus you enjoy catching a Large Fish on Rod and Reel more than anything. She is right on this. But I argue the fact of having two Boats. She says this is different, she can be comfortable in the Big Boat, plus it is better getting to hunting places and getting Game out. She makes sense but how do you deal? oneshot

We went fishing caught a Drum and Channel Catfish. Someone was getting Crappie seen bunch of cleanings on the bank. oneshot

Ok my Brother in Law snags Rosco area and said he had been out not having any luck said everyone else was doing the same. Anyone else seeing any different? I'm thinking this season is going to be a wash as far as snagging. Might be better considering either Crappie or Catfish. I'm on Fixed Income and it's hard coming up with Gas money. oneshot

I got to agree, I don't shoot or catch anything I don't use. I will go Carp fishing a couple times a year but fry all I catch. But I come from a time when it was normal to see Carp in the Meat Case at the store. oneshot

I just have them in a Tub in the Garage with Dirt, Peat Moss and News Paper. Been feeding them Vegetable Scraps, Coffee Grounds, ground Egg Shell and Laying Mash. oneshot

Yes Buffalo closer to Suckers. Carp cleaned right isn't bad. When I was a kid you could find Carp in the store and they had Pay Lakes where you could Buy Ticket and catch around 20 Pounds any over you had to pay extra. oneshot

I went got bunch of stuff for my Boats. Came up I didn't have Gas money to take my Boat out. When I was thinking this I was thinking my Big Boat on Truman Lake. I got License for my Small Boat trailer, was putting them on. What the heck, I live on the Niangua River. Biggest thing about a Boat is getting where people can't get to from the bank and I know several Holes only way is by Boat. There isn't many Catfish but there is some and most the fish in the river is very good eating. I can handle my Small Boat by myself easier than the Big Boat. Who knows it might be taken out far more than my Big one. oneshot

Funny you mention this because I have seen people not know the difference between Browns and Rainbows. There is places on the river I wish they would release them that people don't walk and most people don't fish from Boat but they could still get Truck in there. Some body New has been coming into Barclay lately regular trashing it. Chopping Live Trees and leaving Fishing Line along the bank.. I know this is Public Land but some people are just worse than others. oneshot

Ok I have a 12 Foot Jon with, 30 Pound Thrust Trolling Motor. My Son said this would be just fine in the holes we go. Said he is just nervous Gigging in colder weather that he would be more comfortable Gigging first of the season when it is warmer. oneshot
