Fishing Buddy around to my way of thinking. Could fish for Bass and Crappie but she don't want to fish with Jigs,Spinners or anything.Could fish for Catfish but want to fish middle of the day.Told her I could get Minnows and we could catch Crappie,Nope.She just wants to use Worm and Bobber. oneshot

I don't think Stink Bait would be a problem,she has had her Hand up the butt of thousands of Turkeys and Chickens and seen what Stink Bait will catch. oneshot

Well this would work if I wanted her off the Boat.I'm more intrested in her understanding this is what we have to do. oneshot

Ok Big Boat,Big Rods and Bait. Here is the problem.Wife is excited about getting the Boat going and wants to go fishing.She doesn't want to leave the House before 7:30 or 8:00AM,don't want to stay out until dark. Been working on the Boat few days,couldn't get it running decided I needed a New Fuel Tank,went to Everharts,they explained to me things had changed on Tanks and Fuel Lines because of Ethanol.So got New Tank and Fuel Line. Got home put it on nothing.Told my wife one Carburetor wasn't getting Gas asked her if she trusted me to tear it down? OOOOOKAY! I Guess! I tore it down cleaned it up,put it back together,had a bugger of time with one Fuel Line finally,put a New Piece in,clamped it with Zip Ties. Got it put together.Said a Prayer.It started first crank.Wife says lets got to the river. Get down there unloaded.I take it on out had trouble Trimming to get it up on Plane but got it.Wife wanted to know what I was doing?Trying to flip it? I explained. We was going down through there she was shaking I thought she was scared? No I'm cold. Got started back to the Pickup hit a snag,scared her but was ok.Got loaded up. Thank You Lord for Your taking care again! oneshot

In '70 me and a Girl went swimming there,there was a couple out there shooting towards anyone in the water saying they was Trespassing.So things have not changed in all these years. oneshot

Yea he was fishing Down Stream from Sapp's Landing,couple more went Upstream for couple hours caught a few Keepers. What Got me the Catfish were really biting Good and just got Lockjaw but that's fishing. Just sticking my Hands in the water I was surprised how cool it was. oneshot

Which brings to mind Otters.Seen one at the river.I remember in '80's MDC was saying they would be nice to have,numbers would never be enough for Trapping they were just a Novelty. Well I've seen areas they have killed all the Bull Frogs,Crawdads and who knows how many Fish.They are Aquatic Killing Machines. oneshot

Yea but use to be it was Time Shares.We pay our I believe $100 spend couple nights at Radisson take in a show or two,go over to Big Cedar,say No,get our Bass Pro Gift Cards carry on. Last time we did pay extra for a Suite and High Adult Beverage Bill,seen Dixie Stampede but got discounts on Meals out,that we found Online,plus I went fishing couple times. Oh last time I was in need of GPS I was going to get from Bass Pro anyway,took my Gift Cards got my GPS,very Happy with it. oneshot

Ok last night talked with a Guy coming in had his Limit of Crappie.I asked if he caught them deep? He said no it was really strange they were on the Bank like they were spawning,I figured the Spawn was over. So there you go.Lake is back to normal,maybe the fish are getting back to what they should of a month ago. oneshot

Well I'm cheap I done got my annual Branson Vacation booked for September.I admit I use them almost bought Time Share,slep on it over night,put a stop on the Check,took their Paperwork back.But I get all discounts and Coupons I can off Internet. Oh I'm the one slipping my days catch of Fish into the Hotel in my Little Cooler. LOL oneshot

Be early basically there is 3 Holes.Right below 64HWY Bridge,there is a riffle then Little Hole that runs along the Bank.Next on down below Canoe Launch,riffle then Hole there.Then go below the Boat Ramp,Hole there just before you get to the Little Island. If it gets too crowded with Aluminum Hatch you can either go back to the Park or go on down stream to Barclay.If you go West on 64HWY there is a sign pointing towards Barclay.Go on past NRO couple miles you will see Yellow Conservation Signs on your right,as matter fact I think it is the first road on your right.Follow it on down to the river,there is Parking Lot and Ramp.You will see a trail running Upstream,it will take you to a riffle which is Good. Stop by Weavers just outside the Park on 64HWY they will help you as to what is working on the river. Hope this Helps. Been strange kind of Hot and Cold both claiming its because of water temperture or Pomme de Terre running or not running water.Don't know the answer I haven't seen any shallow as I would figure. What depth was you catching them? oneshot

Well if they just fish real early might be ok.I've fished below the Park while they was unloading Canoes and did fine.Plus Sunday might be ok all day because most go Home Saturday. oneshot

I was using 12# Test. Had some Guys come by me today,said they wasn't into fishing for Carp but sure looked like I was having fun but they also asked what I was using for Bait,so maybe they will try it. oneshot
