  1. Went down this morning it is back in its banks. Not sure what it looks like down stream as far as trees. Kind of got on to on another Forum because they was going on Gage Readings. So I won't be posting no more other than water color. oneshot
  2. Went down to the river to fish. It is running bank full and trees breaking off into the river. Suppose to get rain again tonight it is going to be awhile before the river is going to be safe to float. oneshot

  5. Went to the Park this evening. Yes it is a little up and muddy but it is still fishable. The river is back in its banks. They had plenty help keeping debris cleaned in the runs at the Hatchery so the Trout did ok. Now it is to rain again heavy Thursday morning but the way it looks I would say by the weekend should be ok. Not great but ok. oneshot

  10. The river was already way up. My wife went in at 2AM because of High Water and I don't expect her home until afternoon. Because of High Water Rescues. I'm really hoping they did something at the Hatchery preparing for this. They was just now getting Trout of size. oneshot

    Worms

I've caught plenty Redhorse Suckers on the Niangua River but the river is up and muddy that may be the problem. With Trout I give about a foot to foot and half of Leader, slow the drift down with plenty weight and put Night Crawler on with plenty loose Worm where there is plenty wiggle. oneshot

    Worms

Well went down to the River Sucker Fishing they weren't biting but reregged my 6# test Line for Trout baited with Night Crawlers and Big Rainbows liked it. Guys around me weren't catching anything but they was using Split shot I was using 3/8Oz. Egg Sinker to slow it down. oneshot
  20. The other night I loaded up stuff to go Catfishing at the Lake and took a Light Action Rod for Bluegill. Later told my wife they was dropping water I should go to the river Sucker fishing. This morning told her the river is dropping too so I might as well go to the Lake. Before daylight I go on over to the Lake, put out 3 lines with Stink Bait and one with worm. 10:30 gave up. Nothing was biting. Got to the river thought I might as well try to catch some Trout. Had 6# Test on my Light Action Rod, size 6 Bait holder Hooks, put 3/8Oz. Egg Sinker on with 3/0 Split Shot. I didn't count on losing stuff, so I rigged up and went to the river. Baited up with Night Crawler, throwed out, BAM! Thought I had a Big Brown, got it closer seen it was a Big Rainbow that made a 6 pounder look small. I was horsing it too much. Broke off at the bank. Went back to the Pickup got my stuff. Rerigged, throwed out caught a pretty nice one. Throwed out again BAM! Had another good one on, played it for awhile, snapped the Hook off. Went ahead caught my other 3. Came home. oneshot
