Yes they was at the riffle, figured should have caught something there. I could see fish getting them to bite was another thing but Cold Front came through might have gave them Lock Jaw.
Actually I was going to bring worms and see if I could catch some Suckers but decided not to fool with it. I'm thinking of concentrating on Catfish later on down when it warms more if it ever does LOL

Was down the Niangua not having much luck. Couple Guys came up there, spoke, I asked how they was doing? Oh only caught one Rainbow. Then one says you oneshot? Yelp. Seems it was ruthead and his Son. We had good visit.
I managed two Rainbows and went home.

Ok take out the fact of the Hatchery Trout and the Dam. Which I remember the area well before Truman Dam was built. The Lord still provided very well.
The thing is being Blessed having places in both regions by what has been provided from the Woods and Streams sometimes I wonder if I'm justified keeping both places up. Only thing with the Cabin by Warsaw it provides me with different provisions and area to provide.
Oh my avatar I'm holding a Goggle Eye out of the Niangua River that Hatchery had nothing to do with but the Lord provided.

Live here next to Bennett Spring, get right to it the Lord provides all that we need from the River and Woods.
We also have a Cabin by Warsaw close to Truman Lake and yes The Lord provides there.
I enjoy both places but does it make sense keeping up both places, keeping two Boats for both places?

Years ago you couldn't do this still makes me nervous parking on Park Property, fishing White Ribbon. I was double checking. I have my Trout Permit so no problem there even though I'm not wanting to fish for them.

There is a Ramp North of Lake on 13 HWY. Go back under the Bridge, keep going, you will come to where Sac River comes in, keep going several miles you will come to Rosco.

Ok the way I understand it if person fishes the river right there where spring comes into the river a person doesn't need Daily Tags just go by river regs?
What I'm wanting to do is go there with couple Rods fish for Suckers and Goggle Eye. Can I do this?

Ok fished the river during the Winter for last 20 years.
Last few years just seems the river has not been being stocked in Winter as it was in the past. Is it just me?

Was thinking of a Float Trip in the Spring from Cross Timbers Access to Sapp's Landing, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Was thinking one day only being 8 and half miles. But thinking not really giving time to do all I want so thinking might be best to make at least two days of it.
Thoughts?
