I bought a Little 3HP Clinton hadn't tried it on my Little 12 Foot Jon.Put it on today took it and my Big Grandson down to the river.Was surprised how it ran.I'm thinking I can get into places I can't with my 18 Footer and get Deer out,plus Good Little Fishing Boat. Just me see how it sets up in the water Little Clinton Chugging along Glad I covinced him to set in the middle instead of the Front oneshot

Ok looked at the New Tank,I can't see how enough air is getting in the vent so going to just losen the Cap. oneshot

Back when there was Good Numbers of Quail people were doing more Small Grain Farming and had very little Fescue in the way of Hay it was more Alfalfa,Orchard Grass and Lespedeza.And everyone burnt in the Spring.Plus Possums and Coons were bringing .25 apiece but all the Kids were getting all they could. Was raised by one of the biggest Road hunters in Green and Polk County,seen him kill 30 birds out of one Covey and still birds left.Not saying I agree with what he did just saying there was birds. oneshot

Got 70HP Nissan didn't run for two years.I cleaned the Carburetors up,got New Tank and Line,run Sea Foam in it.It will run fine wide open for about 4 or 5 miles then just act like its not getting Gas. Thinking it might be getting air in the Lines some where could this be it? oneshot

I like mine Hot and Black its a long story. But with fishing if its nice out my wife just wonders how many days I'll be gone. oneshot

Has Columbia got that Bad I use to Party there every weekend? But I think alot of what goes on the Niangua River is Overflow from Party Cove on Lake of the Ozarks.At least see the same types of activity. oneshot

What's funny one time they had Road Block going down to Niangua River.Half the people going in was going to Jail and getting Tickets,the other Half down there couldn't get out because of Warrants and such. big rockpile

18.6 Ford, last access above Truman Lake. OffHwy. Y and County Road 217. Take un maintained road to the east. This access is by my place.It says Unmaintained Road,lets put it this way you better have 4WD that sets up high. oneshot

Well this makes sense.I have a Bow Mount but don't care for Foot Control,plus I don't feel the one I have is strong enough,even though my Son seems to think it is but he has messed with more Trolling Motors than me.Plus just seems if I'm trolling with Lines out it would be easier with Transom Mount? oneshot

Is there any disadvantage of Transom Trolling Motor on a 18 Foot Jon? oneshot

Ok went got my 18 foot Boat got it going.Got a 12 foot Wide Bottom Jon I was going to sell. My wife said why not keep the little Boat to get in Small places where I can't get in with the Big Boat? Ah I think I can get in with the Big Boat. Well a Neighbor stopped by showed him my Big Boat.Oh it's too Big to use down here on the river.Showed him my little Boat,told him I was thinking of selling it.Oh you won't get anything out of it and it's right size for down here on the river. Well go back in talk to my wife about selling the Little Boat.Well you price it for this.No I won't get it,it's not worth that. Go back out.Go back in talk with her.Ok I'm keeping both Boats! I have a Hand Held GPS I can get Lake Maps for $100 figured it would help.Its been good out hunting,as matter fact I'll probly have it with me anyway. oneshot

This is what I have.It was used on the Missouri river,I'm thinking it's a Tank but just barely feel safe.I got it to use Hunting and Catfishing so alot of Night Boating,during all kinds of weather. 18 foot 52 inch all welded,70 HP,Prop,thought about Jet Drive but from what I've seen this won't help. oneshot

Ok I hadn't ever put in at Avery until today.I couldn't believe the Timber,used Trolling Motor to get over to the Lake.Then finding the channel,I didn't but some knew it the way they was going through there. Was watching people come from the ramp,some did ok others got hung up.Going back in I used my Motor was doing good until I got hung up spun the Boat around. Is this normal for this Lake kissing Transducers Good Bye? I give up on Fish Finder.Scared to open up. How do you ;learn this Lake without tearing up your Boat if not worse? oneshot

Well got her out there fairly early.She caught the first fish,a Channel Cat.Then I caught a Channel Cat,then she caught two Bluegill.Then nothing. We decided to go on down the river where I hadn't been.Guy told me there was a Snag Field that was hard to get through. Got headed down that way,I put the Boat on Plane,was scaring my wife with all the snags.Get up where the Guy was talking about.I slowed down,go a ways,hit a snag.Transducer flies up on the Deck.Well I quit worrying about a Fish Finder. Turn around to go back to the Ramp.Get Boat up on Plane.All is Good.Come to another Boat fishing along the shore.Go to slow down,it wouldn't.Finally get it out of Gear but still running wide open.I shut it off.Take it by Trolling Motor back to the Ramp. Got it Home Linkages looked Good,Took Control Lever apart,it looks ok.Walked around the Motor,whats this Linkage do?Move it,ah it does this,moved it couple times.Start Motor up,all runs fine.Ok learned something New Today. Snag Field oneshot
