  1. on a side note ... they are picking up large walleye's late afternoon early evenings!! ...just saying!
  2. the river is so full of trash you just about can't drive a boat up from beaver town . full trees, and logs cover the surface . just a heads up ? if this was your plan for the up coming weekends
  3. they also just dumped walleye at beaver town...talked to the driver and they said it was over looked as a re-stocking area but will be testing it this year with 4 more drops??
  4. hey F&F you know they stock lake Atlanta . with trout. right! and the city lake behind the Mc donalds in Springdale on hwy71.
  5. these walleye eat bait!! and are deep. they seem to be hanging above beaver town and up from holiday island . are the two areas we have caught them this past month
  6. didn't see your post !........ TROUT , we start off below houseman, and drift left bank. looking down stream (river left) to the downed trees. and then run back up stream and repeat until we limit out.. but be warned fishing just before dark the fog is so thick you can't see the bank. we boat up there, to it. and fish back to Beaver town. so down stream the fog is thinner, then it's gone .
  7. it"s great fishing late afternoon to dark but you'll need a fleece jacket and the fog is thick lots and lots of floating wood almost all the way to Holiday Island..

    Kings

    low and clear!
  9. right now i would be thinking kyles to erbie or erbie to pruitt. . yes it;s too low but nobody has floated it.. outfitters don't do it?? that means maybe 40 fisherman have hit this season and it's been flood and high water conditions all season......your welcome!
  10. skip the war eagle !! the lower kings has a nice cement ramp at the romp hole .. 2 wd friendly
  11. Ron, the trophy area is way up stream of that ..>> >> the end of the trophy area, is up stream of parkers flats.(end of the road).. and the starting area is right by the campground and bathroom spot right below the dam .... fishing around the bridge is fair game !
  12. i have been fishing it all summer, with great numbers. but nothing big! kinda funny to see the smallies riding on the backs of the snakes to make from pool to pool ..
  13. i have a SCOUT from clipper canoe it's a 15' 10 " with tractor seats, foot bar, and front slider seat, sand color , $ 800
  14. Jim, let me see if someone wants just the canoe........... i'm open for any offers $$$$ but would like to sell it as a package if i could
  15. why yes, yes you do!!
  16. Grumman 17 ft. flat back canoe with 4 hp. Yamaha outboard. this is a light weight Grumman air craft canoe from the 40's it's is ready to rig with the sail option or use with the outboard . $ 1100 or best offer
  17. 17 ft. Grumman flat back canoe with 4 hp. Yamaha outboard $1100. or best offer
  18. the water is almost gone in the river . the lower end near yelleville hwy 14 to rush would be the best bet for a floating trip. buffalofloat service, or wild bills would be the outfitters down that way........ hope it helps ?
  19. i'm just over the state line ,and can service your needs! 479~841~2554
  20. They were actually pretty easy because at that level the riffles are gone and the river is mostly pretty smooth, but the margin for error is so slender that it would be deadly if you made a mistake.......................words to live by!
  21. the river guide is "the book" for white water paddling. http://www.ozarkpage...ges.pl?ST=level about the only thing else would be the Spring river ,or anything with a dam release.. i know this doesn't help much
  22. you can wade/walk a long ways up stream or down. the water levels are very low .
  23. the IN~PUT is great thank you ! but i'm not taking the scenic river route, or waters used by any other outfitters. my plan is to stay with the smaller waters . i have a list , of weekend fishing people that don't want to go after the trophy, or record breaking trips. this might sound silly to the (big guides) but all they want is to be more like a fishing buddy. to be called up and hit the water for a day, or weekend trip. i have taken 4 outtings so far and it has got my list to 26 confirmed. ready to go, and about another 16 doing the iffy thing! this all word of mouth . and no money. just grass root networking . so the need for a service is out there.
  24. i'm still doing my homework. but i'm thinking about waters that are less traveled
  25. I'm think about making the jump from fisherman to being a guide. and i'm looking for some input and maybe a hire for a position . at this time i'm just testing the waters?
