"I asked about putting one in at R.R. I offered to pay for all the equipment and keep up the equipment and pay for all of it if they would let me put one in at the twin falls hole, looking down stream. No deal, said it was a privacy thing." Privacy thing doesnt make since. Isnt the park a public place. I would think that if you are in a public place then you wouldnt need to worry about privacy. I dont think that there is anything private about being in public. No matter how hard you try someone is going to see you.
  5. where is spokane at? if its down south by the lakes I might be able to haul it down there for ya. Im planning on going to Browns Bend area (65 mile marker ozarks) next weekend. If you get one let me know?

  8. Any bets on when the water level will get back down to 701. It will be nice to be able get down there and fish this summer, I dont know though if it keeps this up theres going to be high water for the brown run.

I dont know man I was just seeing all the O-Line going in the first 15 picks and was wondering if it would have been better it get one of them

    Chiefs

OK guys what do you think now. Trade a team leader defensive linemen and draft a rookie defensive linemen instead on concentrateing on the O-line. I know this guy is suposed to be good but he wasnt suposed to be there when at the Chiefs turn. Fractured tibula scared everyone else off. I dont know about you guys but it is hard as a season ticket holder to put up with this stuff. I mean every yr its the same thing "it s a rebuilding yr" wether its a new coach or replaceing retired players that Carl the Hun ran off. I guess one one hand we can hopefully get excited about watching the defence again like in the mid 90's. Just too bad we got rid of the leagues best pass rusher.
  12. Does anyone know about Grigsby tackle bags. Are they any good and what do they go for price wise. If seen one for sale for 35 bucks, backpack, three boxes, several pockets, and so on is it a good buy? I havent been able to find them online.

    Chiefs

I what is he thinking the guy doesnt know how to pick in the draft. Kickers in the 5th round for example (that on edidnt even make the team). I guess hes thinking he will get rid of his best player and draft one decent player one crappy player and one that wont make the team or end up in prision. sorry about the double post just wasnt done ranting yet.

STUPID CHIEFS!!!! I hope that Carl Peterson isnt flyfisherman down there at Tany or anywhere else for that matter. That man would screwup a crowbar in a sandbox. I cant belive he trades off the only reason to go see the team play.

I would still tie it to the bumpers as my main tie down points. Your rack is rated for down weight not the upforce of air pulling up on the rack. Sure tie them to the rack to keep from going to side to sied but use your bumpers to hold it to the car. You should have tow hooks in front and in the back on the sides of your reciver hitch there should be two loops that you would normally use trailor chains. Acoulple foam pads from walmart wouldnt hurt either to keep the boats from rubbing up by the windshield.
  16. Hey man if you want I will trade you all my fly fishing stuff for your bass boat. JK

Havent hauled a canoe in yrs but when I did I would not use the roofrack. Istead I would tie them to the bumpers makeing sure the front bumper is even with the front of the canoe and tied it first then putting the rest of the tension from the back. I would think two at a time would be possiable I might fasten the canoes together at the spreader bars and then down to the roofrack so it couldnt slide off. With gas prices now though it might be cheaper to to rent. And if you plan on haveing some outfit transport it upstream or to pick you up it probally wont be worth the effort.
  18. Now I know what all them buzzards have been waiting for. I always wondered why so many of them hung out around the KOA.
  19. I think its pretty simple and more so lately. If you click on new post it gives you all the new post since your last visit. And with the water being so high lately someone is going to ask or update a ramp topic. I went through the other day when Bill first posted this to see how many different threads at Table Rock for ramps, I think there were seven different ones. It only took me 2 minutes to find those and if Im not mistaken that would be a better use of your time than to waste 20 minutes waiting for a reply. I dont blame Bill for getting a little hot under the collar every now and then. I couldnt imagine the number of phone calls and PMs the guy gets. And then to come on here and looking for some fishing entertainment and see the same thread over and over. Instead of waiting 20 minutes call a marina, going fishing, and come back here and tell us how you did.
  20. I dont know much about this kind of thing but maybe a tire plug and some aquaseal around that would do it. But like I said I dont know much you would want to talk to someother guys about that before doing that (Just my two cents).
  21. Im guessing the deadline is when it fills up. And what size rods are used up there is a seven wt too small?
  22. what are you looking for alum or fiber/length?
  23. OK guys tell me this is it the baot that catches the fish or the fisherman. Personally I dont have a boat and have always wanted a new Ranger, or Titan but just dont care for the price tag. Honestly I have caught more fish from a deep V alumminum boat with a 25 hp tiller than in a souped up fiberglass job. I know tournament guys want out of the hole and guides need the new fancy stuff for their clients but for me when I finally get to buy one I think I will wait till that DR sells and get a very nice boat at a more reasonable price. I guess each person is different and can spend their money on what they want. Right now I have about 200 bucks in my pocket I dont think I could get an inflatable for that
  24. Reading Bills post shocked me. I wouldn't think that people would be so inconcerdate. And being so called sportsman o top of that. Hey Bill and other guides here how many people(that arent fellow guides shareding info) call you up and TELL you where the fish are biteing, conditions, depth and so on. I doubt very many so next time someone does that ask them what they do for a living and tell them you will give free info for trade, say your basement needs finished, taxes done, concrete poured, heck why not a new house. I have ran into guides while fishing, its hard not to on Tany but as they drift by with their clients I dont ask what they are hitting on. For one its not far to the client that paid for the service and I wouldnt want someone bugging my guide but I also wouldnt want the guide to lash back possably causeing a nasty situation. Secondly it not fair to the guide wanting to help the client being distracted by non paying customers. I comend you Bill and others that dont do what myself and many others would do and make the seen. Good luck fishing and make sure it stays fun by not letting some half wits ruin your job. Next time someone says you get paid by the site ask them how much they pay to get on the site and how much advertiseing goes up and down the sides pop ups and what not.
  25. I have found flyfishing like golf cause it is just as if not more addictive. Wether you are fishing for trout or not you will start to try to flyfish for anything. Thats the way I am anyway I dont even want to get my other rods out heck I would fly fish for my crappie minnows if I thought they would bite.
