Im an owner of a time share at big cedar and have never heard of such a school there. Im guessing it is connected to Jhonny Morris's dogwood canyon private trout fishing thing. From what Ive heard about it it has some sort of hourly rate and someone on here a while back took his son and didnt like it to much. Jhonny owns like 49% of big cedar so they might promote it from there. If there is one there its proballly pricey like eveything else there. Can anyone tell Im not happy with our purchace there by the way anyone want to buy a time share. Dont know where you are from but I would look up your local fly shops. I know backcountry has been doing some classes in Springfield and Jeramey Hunt has been doing some in Branson.

Has anyone been down there today(saturday april 5). Was thinking about going down there tomarrow but not sure if its worth the trip for one fish.

I dont think a test would do any good for any of the things you have listed. Look at all the drivers who dont know the rules of the road as is. Stiffer penatlys and more regulation is possabaly the only way. I dont know how many times Ive been fishing in my life but I do know ive only been checked for my licence once and Im 31 yrs old. Fished on quite a few lakes and rivers in missouri and only one timed checked on a small city lake last year at about 1:00 in the morning. Maybe with heftier fines for poachers and increased licences for the offenders would let the state up the number of officers. Another idea I had was if a person is caught poaching or fishing without a licence (no matter if its the first time or not) all fishing equipment includeing all rods reels and tackel at the house confinscated and sold to pay for officers and so that legal fisherman that follow the rules and pay for their licences can get a good deal or donated to youth fishing programs.

OK Terry fixed it. Well it sounds like I was mistaken for the job market in Mountian Home. I thought with industries like Ranger there would be ample places to find work.

Hey I was wondering if Roland has a site that has his pictures on it , does anyone know? And has anyone had a chance to fish these flies yet if so please let me know how that thing I tied up is doing so I'll know if I need to tie anymore up.

I live in KC but I have been trying to get my wife to move to Mountian Home AR. From what I have seen it is a desent size town with plenty of job oppertunities (esp. for someone retireing and looking to get a lot of fishing time) and it rith in the middle of a bunch of good places to fish.

I might be heading down to Bull Shoals this weekend but was thinking about stoping in at upper Tany and do a little night fishing. Is this even possable with all the water running or is it not worth my time? I would have about 2 or three hours to fish at most. Thanks for advice in advance. (I dont have a lot of experience at night if that matters)

I was takeing it but didnt care for the nausa and the dreams so I quit. I also got sick while takeing it so that didnt help much. Now Im just slowly cutting back on the smokes on a six to nine month plan.

I was glad to see Jr leave the DEI umbrella. I think he is finally becomeing his own man(not his fathers image). From what I watch and had watched in years past Jr is a better sportsman than his dad. The old man would bump, wreck or crash anyone on the track and say its raceing. If someone did that to him he was all over the press complaining about the dirty tactics the winners or anyone that finished before him did. I dont think I have seen JR doing this and hopefully with two champion team mates he will do better than he did with the evil DEI.

size 18-20 black with silver ribbing zebra midges, red with black or silver ribbbing, maraboo jigs size 1/100 peach, bubble gum, and yellow, scuds olive, cream, buggers in olive and black, and san whan worms in red or brown have always been good producers for me during the day. Night is a little different (well its a lot different) bigger flies and heavier line.

Mine went out yesterday the 28 by UPS so hopefully they will be there by Saturday.
