River Hills Sporting Clays located in Boonville, Missouri will be hosting their annual Missouri River Classic Sporting Clays Shoot May 4, 5, and 6. This event is an NSCA event, and one of this years Team USA selection shoots. As usual, NSCA registered shooters will compete in their respective classes with a Hunter Class for non-registered shooters. There will be a total of 3 Sporting Clays courses: a preliminary, and two main event courses. We will also be offering Small Bore for 12, 20, 28, and .410; along with F.I.T.A.S.C. Sorry, it looks like we will not be offering 5-Stand or Make-a-Break competition though I believe we will have the 5-Stand course open. i got a bad case last summer while bass fishing. i was in the category of those immune until then. what made it worse was that i had cut the area on my right leg that contacted the leaves. the stuff spread from my ankle down to my toes and up to about mid-thigh. the doctor said something about it traveling through the blood stream... thoughts anybody? the swelling was awful and the cut got infected. when i finally went to the doctor, i was a week into it. the rash lasted about 3 more weeks, and they had me on an ingested steroid, some kind of skin cream and antibiotics. the scarring lasted for a couple months too. as for the bleach, i tried it... wouldn't recommend it. it hurt like hell, and the only thing it did for me was introduce me to a new and exciting type of pain . my buddy had some kind of numbing ointment he gave me that was clutch when i was trying to sleep, the ingredient was something "caine", can't remember. after that, the few more cases i got were real mild.

crystal meth... gotta love the names of some of these bugs.

yeah, i guess i forget that we're adults on here and most of the posters know each other pretty well. don't worry about offending me, it ain't easy. i do enjoy a healthy, friendly argument. i just don't like it when it goes too far, especially when its not in person. wait, wait, i'm gonna try this joking thing... here goes... dano... i got nothing, sorry, i tried.

i wasn't suggesting that somebody censor what we post, least of all a 22 year old college student. it just seemed to me that a nice little fight was about to start because of a miscommunication. i don't question anybody's right to post their opinion or feelings. we need to realize, however, that because we can't tell tone over the internet that a joke could easily be misconstrued as an insult. i am, by the way, going to take my own advice and be extremely careful about joking with people. i'll give that one to you mallard, my post could have come across in a negative way and that was not my intent- sorry j, it wasn't that part that came off as condescending, i thought it was hilarious. it was the last sentence of that post and mallard's reply that i took the wrong way. the reason i'm worried about fights brewing is because i was a member of a forum for competitive paintballers back when i played and quit even looking at the site after it became a place where everybody just flamed each other. i enjoy this site, have learned tons here, and i don't want anything like that happening. no hard feelings?

isn't it amazing how much can be said just by the changes in tone and pitch of the voice? i never really thought about how a statement can be interpreted as a fierce insult or dry humor until now. maybe we should save posting comments like the previous few for those that we know personally and will accept such a statement as a joke rather than an insult. in my limited experience, miscommunication is one of the biggest causes of fights and feuds. we don't need any of that on here.

i kinda figured you were joking. it was the last sentence that threw me. just for future reference, you might try to avoid comments that are condescending in nature. i laughed at your cartoon idea though.
