  1. From what I have been reading, Pomme is up quite a bit? Anybody have any reports on what the fish are doing and where??? Gonna head down for fun this weekend. thanks
  2. If you are coming from Louisburg on 32 and you get to the stop sign for D. go straight and you can cut through. It meets up with RB.
  3. Nice fish KC. good to hear from you again. We have our camper in Whitesides Hidden Acres and am there most weekends all summer. maybe we can hook up for a half night Friday nighter.
  4. I would be betting on shallow right now. haven't been there and someone who has can either confirm or deny but I would be looking for bedding bass to start with to see if I can figure out what stage of the spawn they are in. See a lot of fish on beds then sight fishing will probably be best bet. If not, they won't be far from the spawning areas. I would look for the first break of deep water closest to the spawning areas. Jig, crankbait, spinnerbait, plastic, c-rig. etc.
  5. I would assume they are in the middle of the spawn now. did you not see any beds?
  6. somebody overcompensating for something..... RogueAgent- congrats! good work.
  7. Wrench I couldn't get bit on a tube shallow. You should have entered tje BFL. Winner had 18 and some change.
  8. Had a club tourney Saturday out of Larry Gale. Water was pretty stained. Could barely see the trolling motor head in the water. We fished everywhere from about bridge up tje big Niangua to about the 5mm of big. All our fish were caught within about 2 miles from tje ramp. We do a card catch and release tourney so I dont know exact weights but caught what would have been about 16 lbs. All on a wiggle wart. Shallow chunk rock. No real pattern. 3 of the 5 came more on main lake chunk rock points. Two others were on the last chunk rock in the back later in the day. Not a lot of fish but good ones when they did bite. Thanks to those who helped here in other posts.
  9. probably be bed fishing by then too.
  10. Did that area get any more big rain yesterday?
  11. Looking a couple nights and no shrooms here yet.
  12. heard they are pulling water pretty heavy to avoid the water coming up though.
  13. thanks guys! gonna be a busy weekend at the lake
  14. Will be in the Nianguas for a club derby on Sat. any report there? Is that area forecasted for rain too I assume?
  15. prayers for this tragedy
  16. Coming down this weekend to Larry Gale ramp. Anyone have a water conditions and bass fishing report?
  17. gotcha thanks
  18. Good report. Thanks. How big are the pockets you refer to? Pockets off main lake?
  19. great report. thanks. now just need GPS coordinates!! lol
  20. Ned Rig is definitely finesse fishing. Just like drop shot is finesse fishing, shakey head, split shotting, mojo rig, etc. and the Ned Rig. all forms of finesse fishing.
  21. Thanks for tje good report. A-rig I assume caught the big sacks.
  22. LOL I didn't even see the Stay N "Church". Wrench, In my opinion, (and that's all it is), I don't have any problems with my batteries, and don't "need" it, but it is good piece of mind while on the water. I also feel it keeps your batteries lasting longer. I am on the same set of batteries that came in the boat since I bought it new in 2010. Same think with my last boat ant WalMart batteries. I get 4 or 5 years out of them, and sometimes more. We have all been on the water that day that our batteries decide they are done and it makes for a bad day, whether fun fishing or fishing a tournament. At least if I have a battery decide to start going bad, I can turn on the motor and run a while and give them a charge. At least it will be enough to salvage a day.
  23. Wow. Wonder how they were caught
