Okay now I'm starting to get worried. I am stuck in the blue skin. I just replied to this once already but when I clicked on the "Add Reply" button it didn't happen. I've also noticed that I'm not seeing a lot of the new posts when I click on "View New Posts". It will show me some but I've noticed a lot of new ones just cruising the board that have never showed up. I guess it's not bad for you guys, I never have anything logical to say anyway. This is just everyone's way of censoring me . I bet the aliens that come see me at night have something to do with this!!!

Well it looks like I will have to miss this one as well. My wife's grandad is having back surgery so I will be at home with my three girls. Heck I don't need another new rod anyway, go ahead and give it to Terry . First I had to miss the TU meeting because one of my store managers had a new baby girl, now I have to miss this one because of my girls. I'm telling you guys that these women are out to get us!!

Bill, Most places that develop film will also put the photos on a cd for you as jpegs. If you have Microsoft Office you can use the picture manager to resize and crop the photos. This option wouldn't give you all the bells and whistles of a digital and photoshop, but it would be the cheapest and simplest option. The biggest benefit about digital is you can see the pics right now and adjust and retake if needed. Plus your not spending time and money on developing.

I had all mine done, but then I started giving them away so now I gotta tie another batch. I will get them done tonight since I can't go to the TU meeting.

Last year, fishing the James, I had a large gar follow me up stream. It stayed right behind my feet gobbling up everything that I kicked up with my feet. Finally I got curious and thought I would see if it would eat a streamer that I was using. I dropped it behind me and it ate it. Then it just sat there. And I just looked at it for awhile wondering how to get my fly back. I gave it a little nudge with my foot and it moved away slowly. And that's when it felt the tension of the line . It shot upstream like crazy. Had me into the backing in no-time. This fish was probably 4 feet long nose to tell. I was really relieved when it finally released me.....cut line. It was quite a rush. I have no idea what I would have done if I would have actually landed the thing. This is one of those moments when I realize how dumb I am sometimes. Hey ya'll watch this!!!

Michael. I've always thought that you have a great looking site. The colors and graphics are very pleasing to the eye. I have looked at a lot of ecommerce type fishing sites and yours is one of the best looking ones that I have seen. One thing that would be nice though is a link on your first page for the catalog. As it is you have to click on one of the categories that you have listed to get there and then you notice the other categories that are not listed on the main page. If you could click on a button for the catalog then you could use the main catalog page to feature new products or specials (like waders at half off....hint,hint). You also need to contact Fishpond and have them fix the link to your site on their website. They have it set as backcountryoutfitters.com not .org. I tried to send you an email about this once before but I don't know if you ever got it. Another option that would be nice is an "In Store Pickup" option for shipping. That way I could shop online and spend more time hanging out and being in the way when I come in. Great site, great store. Ronnie

Terry, where do you cross the James at? Welcome Riverdoc. I too love the Finley. It holds a lot of fish and I've caught a few of those crappies on my flyrod. The biggest was a 13 incher that hit a popper.

That's exactly why it's near impossible to get private access. If you can carry a 30 pack into a fishing spot you should have no problem carrying the trash out. Why should you take a chance of loosing your spot by allowing others to trash it.

I've been wondering about those magic heads for quite some time. I always wanted to try them but never have. Looks like another new smallie pattern is gonna be in the works. I know how much they like those little crankbaits. Will these heads give a fly that type of action?
