  1. Welcome to the forum!
  2. Nice the weather worked out, sounds like despite the river conditions you were able to find some great spots to still hook up some fish. If you right click on your file, the option should come up to open with different programs on your computer (not your default program)...your default picture viewing program or others on your computer should have options to resize the images.
  3. Nice looking fish, hope you get into a bunch of them. Looks like you figured it out when the water is moving.
  4. Looks like a wonderful day, thank for sharing some great pics. Looks like everyone had a great time!
  5. Great pic - congrats on the 1st trout. That will be something to remember.
  6. How do you get to Beaver or Swan Creeks from Table Rock Dam? I guess there's public access?
  7. Congrats on the news!
  8. Nice looking fish, I bet Dry Run Creek was a blast!
  9. I tried it at Bennett this spring and no luck, but didn't catch any on other egg patterns either. Probably will work better in the fall? So far it hasn't been a killer pattern.
  10. Those are some great looking fish. Sounds like a great day.
  11. Nice looking fish.
  12. Welcome!
  13. I'm sure you have seen this: http://www.swpa.gov/generationschedules.aspx It's hard to say what they will do. Sometimes the trends are what they project. I have been in the water and heard the horn go off and the water never came. I have logged onto their site for the schedule the morning I am going to fish and it doesn't happen...so I quit planning! It is what it is and try to fish with what the powers have assigned for the day.
  14. How long does Zone 4 take to clear out after it's muddy?
  15. Twosets, They make tungsten lines for fly fishing that sink. SA makes one that is 10' with welded loops on both ends, I think you can buy a sectoin of Rio and cut it however long you like. I fish them the same, the current will move it along the bottom with whatever fly you have on. I pressume you are asking about fly lines, with a spinning reel you would not need a heavy weight jig to get to the bottom.

    "gut" Fly

I think some people will throw red and white jigs. Don't have any pics.
  17. Maybe an eagle can get a snack (if it doesn't make the bird sick)? Looks like that fish won't recover.
  18. Interesting results on a vehicle. A fuel injection did not like the E85 - a fuel warning light came on. Burned that tank dry and light goes off! I won't use any of that again. I'm not certain but I think they are supposed to post a content ratio at the pumps if it is not pure 100% gasoline?
  19. Nice pictures. Where is Sweden Falls?
  20. That will be cool to get some daily updates, hope the WiFi is working. It's a nice option to have it if you want it. Good luck fishing! Tight lines.
  21. I'm pretty sure anything goes for the river as long as you have trout stamp.
  22. Maybe they'll qualify for a gov't bailout?
  23. Forgot the camera! Surprising results today. First 5 fish were browns, started quick and fell off very slow. Finally caught 3 rainbows but quit around 4pm. The numbers of fish in the water does seem to be much lower than last year, it is hard to see many around. There are the usual groups feeding on gut piles that gather up. The water level is not that bad as opposed to last year this time. Fishing selection. The browns came on a gray sowbug early, then I couldn't beg a fish to bite. I did see some surface action and had some lookers but zero fish were on dries. I tried every color and size from #14 - #26. Frustrating. I could see a few fish that were coming up time and time again but none of them like anything I threw, and I tied everything on. The 3 rainbows came on a meal worm pattern in white #14; scud #20 in black; pheasant tail #18. The parking lots were not very full but everyone must have loaded up vehicles as there were crowds in the water. Enough room to fish but more people than you would expect for the number of vehicles. I think everyone would rate the fishing as slow as I did not see that many people hooking up fish. Usually, you can look up and down the stream and someone has a tight line. Seems very slow today. The weather was perfect, so a great day to get out. I would have stayed later, but not catching anything, I called it a day.
  24. Nice looking fish, sounds like some good action with the sunshine.
  25. Nice pics and a brown.
