  1. Well that was a short notice... Hope youu get into some fish.
  2. x2! Plus the rooms are almost on the water, easy to walk or drive to the park.
  3. There are some BIG trout in that section. Great looking pic.
  4. I'm thinking about taking a drill for some ice fishing!
  5. Tim, OMG! That is too funny. I'm glad I was not drinking a coke when I read that, I would have blown it all over my screen.
  6. I read an article they moved the river, it's no longer there: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28439201/a898/34829x
  7. I have not used the flying goose decoy but I have used Mojo decoys with ducks and doves. The Mojo decoys work great. The Carry-Lite looks like a good deal. I would try it. I was playing around and put a duck decoy out while dove hunting. The duck decoy would flare doves. As far as putting the Carry-Lite in a height above the ground, you could probably put it at any height. Behind your spread, I would probably have it higher, but in the landing zones inside your spread just a few feet off the ground would be good. Sounds like a fun hunt.
  8. Sounds like things are turning around, that's great news.
  9. California is leading the way on firearm bans, this doesn't surprise me they are restricting everything else.
  10. Sweeeeeet! Great news on both subjects, now that's a Christmas present. Congrats.
  11. Nice video. Looked like it was hard to demonstrate "how to jig" at first catching them before you could work the jig. I'm not sure how you can make an online video higher quality. YouTube and other online videos are compressed so dialup connections can view them and to just save bandwidth. Most do become very digital and the quality is lost. When you play the original on a high resolution TV it looks like you are there in person.
  12. www.natchezss.com has a 14" barrel for $216.35, they have some 28" and 15" TC .30 barrels
  13. He promised CHANGE...
  14. Hog, hogs and more hogs!!! You can see if you don't build pens around the feeders, there will be hogs.
  15. That's nice to see - AND some water that is not up to the banks and swift!
  16. Well, fishing kind of does that, takes you away and makes the world go away. At least she wasn't with another woman!
  17. Welcome and thanks for posting. Fishing reports and pics are always good.
  18. Of course it is expensive but sounds like the DO injection was a huge energy boost for the fish. What a time to be there.
  19. I bet she was excited. That's great. I'm sure the eagles miss a few and leave some marks. They are pretty cool to see.
  20. Nice trout. That's a huge net, but you are used to catching BIG fish so I see why you would carry it!
  21. What dingdongs, fishing is supposed to be relaxing. They need to take a chill pill in the great outdoors.
  22. No daily tag required, but you do need a Missouri trout stamp to fish. Fishing hours are 8am to 4pm. I'm not sure what time they open the park.
  23. Sounds like you had good timing. A chance of rain or snow tonight. Brrrr.
  24. I have used several other brands. I think the key is to let it cure for 24 hours after an application so it can dry onto the fly. I have had little #24 Comparduns stay afloat. As mentioned before after a few fish hit it and submerge the pattern they will get saturated. I found making 4 or 5 false cast helps dry the fly out again and up on top it stays. I may blow on the fly in my hand before I false cast just to assist in drying. Hackle or the design of a Comparadun is important also. A rock is going to sink regardless how much treatment you put on it, the treatments just assist with a fly.
  25. Oppps! Up a creek without a paddle?
