Does anyone know of a covered boat storage in the area I could rent to store my pontoon boat year round?

My be right. My dad was from old school and had all kinds of cures. Two I remember most is the Lysol bath which was good for chiggers and most anything else. Also he use to give me a teaspoon of sugar with a drop of turpentine in it but I don't know what for.

When I was younger I could look at poison ivy and get it. My dad gave me a handful of the leavse and told me to chew them up and swallow the juice. Never had it since. I would not try this on my own kids but it worked for me.

I was listening to the scanner last night here in Sullivan, and the deputy was taking a report on a drive off at the local stop and rob, and someone else drove off without paying while he was there. I know this officer and he drives a marked car. Gutsy.

Well I have been coming to Branson/Taney for several years and usually for two or three day trips. I have to say I enjoy the landing for this reason. On every trip my wife has to take one afternoon (or day) and go shopping. Which includes Tangers and the red top mall (don't know the name). At least with the landing I can go to Bass Pro and look around and send her down the side walk. Don't know about anyone else but I can spend several hours looking around at stuff. Only option at the other places is follow her around.

Ok maybe a dumb question maybe not. I live 3 hours away and everytime I come up and not staying at a resort or somewhere that has fish cleaning stations I am faced with the question of where do I clean these fish. Usually I bring them home on ice but after driving three hours the last thing I want to do is clean fish. The last time I decided to clean them in my boat right by the ramp dock at the MDC ramp at Cooper Creek and I'm on my last fish and guess who comes by... yup game warden checking traps. Lucky all he said was "that's not a good idea". I said thank you and on the trailer I went. So what do you do and why do you think the MDC does not have a cleaning station there?

I fish by boat there everytime. I have found most of it to be good areas, but we like to motor up past Lilleys to the curve and float (or troll) back down past the Corps boat ramp and have always done very well. I can't tell you much about other areas as we have never had any reason to move because we do so well there. Plus it saves on that gas.

Well we went op on easter weekend first time I had been there in years. We put in at Windsor crossing. Other than the white capping winds we had a great time. Caught lots of fish on minnows right on to about 8 foot off the bank, but out of probably 60 fish a day we only got eight keepers all weekend. Seems there are lots of small ones. The keepers we got were from 12 to 14 inches and really thick. All and all it was a good trip. It's always a good trip if your catching something.

Planning a trip up by Tightwad over Easter weekend does anyone know how the Crappie are biteing.

We were going to come up but I have to get all these spring time yard "honey dos" done so I can come in May.
