I was supposed to take my son and all of his buddies fishing today, but they chickened out this morning. They were scared of getting cold.
Well, I had all the stuff packed, and I aint scared of a little cold, so I went by myself. Pulled in the parking lot around 7:45 A.M. and got my things together. Decided to start with an olive pine squirrel conehead at the metal bars below the outlet. There is a monster sittin under there. Got him to take a look one time, but he never committed. Caught two 14" right off the bat and spent a long time trying to work the big one on every streamer in my box. Decided to move up to outlet 2 and changed to a blood midge. Tore them up there. Went to outlet 1 and caught a few. Ran into rvconrad and talked with him for a while. He has some great stories of monsters he caught this catch and release season. Decided to go all the way down to the bridge and see what was in the water. Saw quite a few large ones. I guess they all had sore mouth fron Leonard on Friday and they didn't want to play today. Ended up leaving at noon and had a great time.
Terry,
I was looking for ya
