Hey Leonard Instead of fishing with you last night, I tied a dozen more eggs for ya. Geesh, some people are just livin life I cant seem to tie a fly that will out last 20-30 fish. Now how am I gonna use Hard As Nails on an egg? Duckydoty

George, I got the OK on Sat and Sunday already. Glen will be coming down Sat. evening. Dont let a little extra water scare ya, Them fish are already wet I might be able to make a run for a little while on Thursday. Got to be extra nice to the wife to pull that one off. Leonard, Thanks for callin and gettin me out of the house. You were right, Taney is a good cure for the flu I feel 100% better now----except my sore arm from horsing in so many fish 3x tippet sure made a difference in not loosing flies. I'm a definate believer that the fish can not see the thicker line at night. There were multiple times where we would catch fish on every drift, 4 and 5 drifts in a row. Cant wait to do it again Duckydoty

My job does not allow me to escape the use of a cell phone at all hours of the day and night. But the cell phone does allow me to escape the office and do a little work while fishing. Now come on guys--If you could enjoy fishing while working---wouldnt you try it too???? Everyone has said they would rather have a bad day fishing than a good day at work. I can have both with a cell phone. Sorry if it upsets some of you but get over it thats why I like my job Duckydoty -

Water was up, temps were down, fish were biting. Fished from noon thirty till 5:00 p.m. and the water was way up most of the time I was there. Fish were biting pretty good on size 10 primrose and pearl and size 16 grey scuds. Only place to fish was outlets 1 and 2. Fish were biting at both but outlet 1 was a little less crowded. Saw one boater making a couple of drifts. The temps were painfully cold on the bare hands after handling a fish, but had a lot of fun Duckydoty

I'd like to see the tennis balls and dog. My son is 16 and begging me to take him and his friends opening day. I'll do it for him but probably wont fish. Duckydoty

Lost power agian most the night. Back on again--for how long????- Got 10 extra kids in the house that will be getting hungry soon. Good thing I picked up 10 pounds of bacon the other day on sale at $1.00/pound. I think the kids are having fun with the whole deal. Wife doesnt like it too much though Duckydoty

Just got power back here in Nixa. Been without most of the day. All the neighborhood kids are at my house. Had the generator going so they could play thier video games and we could cook for them. Truck got hit by tree limbs twice while out picking people up and got hit by a power line once. No body hurt, so its been a pretty good day here Duckydoty

Had to go get my Mom in north Springfield last night. She lost power around 8:00 P.M. . I have a generator just incase, so I figured we all could tough it out at my house. I lost power a couple of times last night but it is on for right now. Trees down everywhere. Saw at least 10 transformers blow last night while driving to get my Mom. Sure is pretty, all the ice and blue flashes. Gonna be a rough couple of days for quite a few folks around here Duckydoty
