  1. Gotcha. I'll be in touch.
  2. Can you pm me your price jeb?
  3. Hmmm (way over my head at the moment, but i am willing)...................... After reading all you do to find a spot for fish, my attempts seem lacking to say the least. So first order of business is to get hds 5 and structure scan, then get back on water, then bug you a hell of alot more.
  4. gotcha!
  5. sounds good. i'll let you know.
  6. just let me know how much you need out of it and i'll let you know.
  7. wow. thanks for the play by play. this add's a new avenue for my new sonar. i had all but gone away from the side scan idea and was going to go with the elite 7. guess i need to do a little more research and maybe go with the hds 5 (like you suggested last year to me.). so correct me if i am wrong. side scan is basically for seeing the terrain under water? then you use that to look for places fish like to hang out?
  8. I didn't have it bad till i heard that "15 walleye" thing. After that all logic and sane thinking went out the window. Ended up not having time to make it rocky branch. Had every intention, then wife happened. Went to the blue springs area and trolled (flickr shad, hot n tots & rogue's) the bluffs and points north of the 412 bridge. Not one single bite!! I have a sonar, but its a entry level one. we were seeing fish, just couldn't catch any. I think i am going to have to start trading old wiggle warts/money/ammo for some beaver lake/white river fishing sessions (not kidding around).
  9. you are correct sir. it was not an easy day. on the positive though, the boat ran good and minimal issues with the trolling motor. hard to stay on path while trolling.
  10. btw congrats on the catch yesterday and thanks for the info. i know i am crazy, but i am going to give it a go. i won't be able to get back out for about 12 days, so here we go!
  11. Guess I won't be working tomorrow. I guess I'm heading up to rocky branch. Do you think te bite will still be good? Also hoave you tried the big flicker shad? If so what are your thoughts.
  12. Anybody got a 12v foot controlled trolling motor they need want to sell. I have a motorguide 54lb pro series that is giving me fits. It only works on speed 5 in the water. Out of the water it will sometimes work on other speeds. I took it in for repair, but it is still acting up. It was messing up my white bass fest today, do I am taking action in getting a different one.
  13. thanks for the intel!
  14. gotcha. i'll let ya know.
  15. How old is it? Reason I am asking us that I am seeing them for 90 brand new.
  16. I'm in Fayetteville Arkansas. Let me research the reel a little more and I'll let you know.
  17. Thanks. I could have probably got that if I would have read the post above. . I should probably start reading the whole thread before I ask questions.
  18. Interested. Where are you located.
  19. Thanks for clarifying that. Learn something new everyday on here.
  20. Is the blue and black screen the the down imaging? Sorry in advance if that's a dumb question.
  21. On a side note. Does anyone have that lowrance 7 hdi? I'm intrigued.
  22. Thanks for the info. I guess I'm going to have to head up there. What is a " staging area".
  23. my report is grim. put in at twin bridges, went down river. made it past both shoals up to neil's bluff (? i think thats the name). coming back up river was not as easy, the first shoal was not fun at all. about 1 fow and it's really flowing. i through a flickr shad, hot n tot etc. not even a bite. i tried jigging, but the water was moving a little too much for that. i'll be waiting for the river to rise, b/c i beat the hell out of my motor.
  24. please do. i will do the same when i get out.
  25. thanks for the info. i was wondering about below the dam. i was worried about the water level being to low, but i guess i need to check. a buddy of mine has been down by twin bridges and hasn't run into any.
