I know alot will depend on the weather between now and then. I am bringing the family down March 16 - 20, staying on Indian point. Will we be able to catch some Crappie? White Bass? Best areas to fish for these species? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My son and I saw this Sat. Morning, so glad the rain stopped, I can't believe how the wind just flipped those docks over. we saw one boat nose up right inside fisher. at least no one was hurt, boats can be replaced.
My son and I were just down for 5 days and I have to say every time I come down it just gets better, Didn't catch alot of fish but the ones we caught were good quality, two 4#ers and 3 other keepers, this was our best trip yet, I have to say Table rock is the most beautiful lakes I have ever been on. We are trying to figure out when momma will let us sneak out again, You gentlemen are very lucky to live so close to such beauty.
Thanks for the help, we will be there for 4 days and have alot planned my son wants to watch the flw take off and weigh in and we will fish taney also. I will let everyone know how we did.
I was wondering how the white bass fishing is on the rock, I will be down next weekend with my son, and would like to give him a shot at some whites on an ultra light.
Thanks, I have never been on the lower end of taney below roark and was kind of interested in the bass fishing on that side of the lake in march, and was just lookig for a map that showed the coves and such on that end.
I have been coming down to taney for over 25 years know and love to fish there,I am bringing my 10 year old son down for his first trip in two weeks, i have always boated taney and i agree that a majority of the boaters on the lake just don't look behind them to actually see what kind of wake they are putting out, My dad and I used to joke that you could just anchor your boat on some weekends and walk from boat to boat from lilleys all the way to fall creek, he taught me to be a courteous boater from a young age, I have idled many times from lileys to fall creek just so you dont make it rough for others. what's the rush your going fishing to relax. I get my coffee out and take my time and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
