  1. Wilderness club at Big Cedar is a big joke. I bought points 10 years ago. I can never get in. We stay at Stillwaters instead.
  2. I know alot will depend on the weather between now and then. I am bringing the family down March 16 - 20, staying on Indian point. Will we be able to catch some Crappie? White Bass? Best areas to fish for these species? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I will heading down next weekend to get in on some of this great fishing. We will be staying at Big Cedar. Any Reports?
  4. My son and I saw this Sat. Morning, so glad the rain stopped, I can't believe how the wind just flipped those docks over. we saw one boat nose up right inside fisher. at least no one was hurt, boats can be replaced.
  5. With the Rain coming through and the rising lake levels this weekend, How will this effect the fishing?
  6. I never see Lizards mentioned in any of the reports on here. Does anyone fish them here?
  7. Just wondering if anyone has heard how day one went? How were the conditions today? Stuck here in St. Louis wishing I was Fishing.
  8. My son and I were just down for 5 days and I have to say every time I come down it just gets better, Didn't catch alot of fish but the ones we caught were good quality, two 4#ers and 3 other keepers, this was our best trip yet, I have to say Table rock is the most beautiful lakes I have ever been on. We are trying to figure out when momma will let us sneak out again, You gentlemen are very lucky to live so close to such beauty.
  9. You could try Big Cedar Lodge they have new tracker boats with 60 hp on them and I think a reasonable price.
  10. Where is canes bottom?
  11. Thanks for the help, we will be there for 4 days and have alot planned my son wants to watch the flw take off and weigh in and we will fish taney also. I will let everyone know how we did.
  12. I was wondering how the white bass fishing is on the rock, I will be down next weekend with my son, and would like to give him a shot at some whites on an ultra light.
  13. Thanks, I have never been on the lower end of taney below roark and was kind of interested in the bass fishing on that side of the lake in march, and was just lookig for a map that showed the coves and such on that end.
  14. I had seen recently on this forum that they were making a map of taney and was just wondering if anybody knew if those were avaible yet.
  15. I have been coming down to taney for over 25 years know and love to fish there,I am bringing my 10 year old son down for his first trip in two weeks, i have always boated taney and i agree that a majority of the boaters on the lake just don't look behind them to actually see what kind of wake they are putting out, My dad and I used to joke that you could just anchor your boat on some weekends and walk from boat to boat from lilleys all the way to fall creek, he taught me to be a courteous boater from a young age, I have idled many times from lileys to fall creek just so you dont make it rough for others. what's the rush your going fishing to relax. I get my coffee out and take my time and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
