got to the park around 8:30am was a little chilly but not bad, the water had looked like it had cleared some from two weeks ago when i was there. two buddies and i started where the two currents run together down from the granny hole and the line. immediately started hooking in to them, all three of us. with in the first 20 mins i had hooked and lost 4 trout and caught 1. the trout were good sized trout that we hooked/caught all day long. walked around the park and spotted 3 or 4 just monsters but all of which were in very slow deep holes right up next to the sidewalk and were not doing much but just sitting there not moving hardly at all. Had one look at a yellow leeche but only for a second. Anyway we all did well the whole day, it started raining around 230 and that seemed to turn em off. my last fish of the day was the biggest of the day i believe and i had to chase him down to get him in . Hooked up with him about 25ft down from the line and he ran me down to the last boulders there before the two currents meet down near the parking lot. nice fish!
what caught about 85% of the fish all day? this guy i tie up, down know what you would call it, but it works great..
