    Can I run my bass boat 150hp with a prop at pike camp? Is it deep enough to run without hitting bottom? How is the spotted bass fishing in this section? Fished it in a canoe but now want to try it in a big boat.

    Lake O is a great place to throw a megabass 110 in the winter. Hire a quality guide once and you will be on the fish all winter long.

    Nice article. The save face (phace?) masks make a huge difference and are cheaper than helmets. I would add everyone needs a spare pair of clothes for the fall in or stray wave. Don't forget to warm your boat up and charge the batteries as you are the only guy at the ramp many times. Slowing down will save a lot of problems. Prerigging your rods in your warm house helps. I also bring a blanket for the guy who doesn't have a console.

    Jerkbait ( hard) or swimbait (soft)? Jerkbaits work great in the winter in any natural color. Use a 8-10 count pause or longer.

    110 plus one. Colors were natural, silver see "thru" I don't remember the name but it was glitter ayu maybe. Jerk or pull was working. 8-10 count just off the points. Not a bite on a point today. Fish were 16-18 inches. Fair bass but not huge.

    Put in at cedar ridge at 8 am. Off the water by noon. 4 keeper largemouth and 5 shorts. Megabass plus 1. Bite shut down by ten when the front came in. Water temp 40 degrees.

    Hunting is NOT the point of the second amendment. If it was it would say the right to hunt shall not be infringed. Ars can be used to hunt but that's not the point.

    I wish we could ban all bead head flys as they are too effective. No split shot either (the Canada way) .... Life would go on but no change would made...I could do without hard alcohol but some people like it. Each to thier own concerning constitutional rights.

    Ars are the ford mustang of guns. Some people don't like them due to the increased performance over average but they are nothing special and there are millions of them.

    My point on all of this is rather simple, either there is a constitutional right or there isn't. We have free speech which everyone agrees with, but that includes pornography ( even that with ladies and donkeys). We out law child pornography and we outlaw fully automatic weapons however everything else seems to pass constitutional mustar. I have no need for watching girls have sex with donkeys and I understand why many have no need for a 30 round magazine but rights are rights and who are we to judge?

    I am for the boat launch. It was needed to get a canoe trailer down to the river. A boat ramp is the best access even if you can't use a boat on that section. It avoids erosion.

    Walleye would eat a chartreuse beer can if it hit the water. Odd color attraction.
