  1. Go to fin and feather and buy a mega bass plus one. Throw it out and jerk it down and count to 8. You will catch fish in lake Springfield!
  2. Bill, I love the new pic. I'm a proud MU grad. MIZ!
  3. They were rolling on the surface.
  4. No. I have three and they run true. I would send it back.
  5. I fished Thursday and sat. Whites are up beaver but not biting. I did not land a fish either day.
  6. I put in at nemo around 12. Fished untill 4. Landed two bass both around 5 lbs! I had two smaller fish get lose. Water temp is 43-45. Clarity is slightly stained. All fish were on the megabass plus one. Good size, but tough day.
  7. Make sure you are under the hp limit for lake Springfield. No boat with a greater than 6 hp are allowed. This includes using the troller only if the big motor is attached. Start on the large river bluff where the river turns. If you take a left as you Are facing the lake standing on the ramp you will run into where you need to fish. Try a stick or a rattletrap. The spring is also a good spot. it is to the right of the old bridge on the south side.
  8. Will do.
  9. Thanks Chris! I may give it a go on Sunday.

  11. I have a couple hours in the morning to fishing Thursday then I have to take out for a business meeting and then I'm planning on going to k dock. I will have from light until 9 to fish and then from 130 until dark. I have never fished lower Taney. Is it any good for bass? Any hot bait? I figured I would put in and start with a small or medium jerkbaits for a mixed bag. I'm alone otherwise I would put in at river run. (no dock). Any advise is appreciated!
  12. Thanks

  14. Anyone have any recent reports for Stockton Bass or Walleye? I went last Friday and was planning on heading back if the bite was picking up. MegaBass and the A-rig were the ticket last weekend.
  15. You guys have to be careful. The Missouri Statute applies statewide, however the NPS and National Forest can and do adopt their own regulations on waters they manage. I.e. on the Current River, the park service may have a C.F.R. that says no glass on or around the river and this may be more restrictive the RSMo. on the same subject.
  16. The rule of lenity applies for criminal statutes. If the law is ambiguous it is interpreted in favor of the criminal defendant. My guess would be a river boat would not be a vessel that is easily tipped. You can be correct and still have to pay a few grand to get out of a small fine. If you really need to know the answer, bring your attorney a fist full of $100 bills.
