I couldn't figure out how to get them to post earlier. Don't know why cause I've been on this forum for about 5yrs.Tried again after your post and was successful. The reel has the rectangular guard and plastic cap. Also has backing on it.Thanks, James

I've got the Freestones and like them alot. $200 was hard for me to spend on waders too but SIMMS' customer service and warranty is worth $200 to me.

I have a new Rainshadow 4wt flyrod blank with the warranty card that I need to sell. Can't afford the components to build and it's such a nice blank that it doesn't deserve cheap components. Ok, I'm gonna make somebody a great deal! This rod has about a half dozen fishing trips on it. Med-fast+ action to me that I don't really like. I had it listed recently for $150 + shipping. I had a TLS Power Matrix 9'5wt tip flex and returned it after fishing it in Colorado. It was great for power casting but not much on short casts or dry flies.Maybe I should have tried the mid flex. I'm trying to decide which one to get. I like the T3 series alot but that will require a little more saving. Keep the favorites coming!

Anybody here fish a T3 9', 4wt mid flex? I'm looking at them for a trout rod. I come up and fish Taney, Beaver's Bend in OK and RMNP, CO. Starting to fish more Dries too.
