we had about 6 in marshfield james is up big again seymore had alot of rain to so the finley is probley up big to.lots of water headed for tablerock. The flatheads my pile up below springfield lake looking for a place to spawn like the spoonbill.

Thanks Trav do you know if there is any flatheads in the lake I cannot find anything about them in the lake I may just go to Truman and set my lines its not all that far to the Avery acess I know their is some their.

some frinds are going to pomme tomarrow wanting me to go and I dont have a clue where to fish I am after flatheads with jugs limblines and trot lines and crappie. and if the crappie dont bite white bass. I will be staying around Pittsburg at the end of 64b. any info will be a great help. I will be in my boat

I SOLD the set for $150 today still have the set for $100 I might have some fish giggs for sale made some out of T100 armor plate got to give them the beat the heack out of them test for a while see if the weld between gigg head and shaft will hold up. I have one made from AR36 plate (not as hard as T100) I used last year and never sharpend it and dont think it will need sharpening this year.

I been watching it at the tunnel dam gauge every time it gets where you can fish it without getting washed out below the dam it goes right back up. I dont know about anyone else but I am ready for some drought like weather conditions for a month or two. Cannot work because of the rain canot hardly fish the rivers because of the rain have to drive to the lake to fish and canot afford the fuel to drive to the lake because I cannot work. But I did get a couple of days in working so I am gone to the lake this weekend.

get out the 50lb test and a shallow running plug. what would you do if you cought 1 like that realise it back to the water unharmed. Be like a overgrown junebug an a string.

I was netting shad when the gates were open at truman last summer and pulled in 4 walleye in the first throw smallest was 20in the biggest was 27in the hardest thing I ever done was turn them back to the wild.

I am going to Truman friday saturday and home sunday run some trot lines and jugs maby a few limb lines with the lake on a good rise may be pretty good. last year I stayed at a few hotels for 28 & 32 dollares a nite that is way cheaper than I can drive back and forth. Alot better to stay anyway spend more time fishing or laying around the pool with my sunglasses on so the chicks cannot tell I am looking at them.(wouldent want them to think I am perverted or somthing)

no luck at stockton with flatheads dont know anything about the lake. anchord jugs outside the flooded willows and timber along mainlake points back in coves. couldent catch any bluegill so I went to a famly members pond and netted some bullheads. most bait was still on the lines and alive brought them home may save them to take to truman next weekend. the water was clearest I have fished this year could see a crappie minnow on my hooks 8 feet deep.

fished at the dam at tunnel dam from friday afternoon untill saturday afternoon me and my son cought 25 catfish 10 crappie and 2 goggle eye. cought lots of 10 inch bass and 1 12inch walleye. was their couple of weeks ago cought big bass and lots of them they have left out or been pouched I guess dident see many leageal fish cought. Thought I might even catch a few flatheads like I do every year but things dident work for me this year.

a bite an hour would make pole fishing for flatheads exciting.I run jugs then sit with my poles all night may not even get a bite on a blugill but most of the bites I get end up with a fish on the stringer. going to my secret spot tomarrow night me and my son I am going to run two sets of jugs one set were I have cought some flatheads and another set wher I have herd of people catching flatheads and bigones. be back sometime between saturday and monday with a report.

looking to buy a 4 door dully dodge deisel looked at alot of them prices have went down looked at one 3 weeks ago 2004 19,900 went back yesterday 17,500. Need a big truck like that for my bisneuss the one I drive now has 300,000 miles. buying a newer one for to drive fishing and stuff untile the old one dies off completly.does anyone know if the market on trucks like that has bottomed out or still droping. looked at a 2007 for 25,000 and was gone when I went back two days later to buy.(studied to long on that one)

I drive a dodge diesel and I filled up my tank tuesday ans put 10 gallons in jugs and five gallons of gas for the generrator because I knew the price would go up for the holiday weekend it is almost like money in the bank.

my brother says why drive all the way to the lake I catch more fish than you do at of the pond. It just is not the same as fishing in the lake almost to easy in 30 miniuts I can catch every fish in a pond. would look good on video. look like a pro that knew what I was doing. kind of like Bill Dance Jimmy Huston is my favorite.

not to crazy I catch them out in open water during and after the spawn before the fish move to the summer pattern usually 10 to 20 ft water over and around humps like fishing for whitebass and wiper. sounds crazy but true just follow the shad

I have never fished on table rock for catfish are the flatheads on the flats or in shallow water along th bank. I do pretty good on truman by the bank on truman in 2 to 8 ft of water arond some brush with deep water not far away. and up the pomme arm in the river channel in 25 ft water. I am sitting 1 1/2 hours from any lake north or south would like to try Table Rock sometime

cought 1 wiper today not to big 2 lbs and atleast 100 10in white bass 100 6in crappie ended up bringing home 30 fish crappie and whitebass between 3 of us 5 of the crappie came from osage bluff. as for the wipers the broken lines are one way I can tell them fro white bass also the lines are darker and it seems to me a wiper is a little lower profile from top to bottom than a white bass.

the olny ? I have is are the considederd black bass or are they considerd a problem.

I would go to bennit but I have a hot date with truman been planing all week cought a few crappie on the bank last friday. hearing good things about them today so I am on my way. I dont go to church as often as I should the Native American blood runs deep in me and they didend go to a church every sunday.
