  1. Just got back last eve. I fished the Kings and it was tough at best. I don't know what kind of beating it took from the big boys but I had very little luck. Lots of pods of shad but not much activity with them. I wish I had a better report especially since I get some much good info from many others on this site. I will be back down there in a couple of weeks and will report again than. Bill you are right it is a very tough time of the year. Anyone fishing the Homer Sloan?
  2. Josh...It was not me. I wish it had been. Would like to get my son into a mess of whites. Have you been down there lately?
  3. I have best luck with a blue with a hint of chartruse (sp again) Colorado blade.
  4. If you are going after Labor Day you will have the full moon on your side. I have had some of my best fishing on the Sept. full moon. I have tore it up with a spinner bait thrown parallel (sp) to bluff banks that are taking on the moon light. I hope it helps.
  5. Were you fishing by Needles Eye?
  6. Lilley...where is the majority of this stealing taking place on the lake? I know 10 years ago or so it was out of the area kids coming down on the weekend and going from dock to dock but I don't think they were actually stealing boats. I hope they get more than the regular slap on the wrist.
  7. Just wondering if anyone has been on the Kings lately and if there is a lot of floating debris? Thanks in advance for the report(s).
  8. Thanks Captain Joe. The report is greatly apreciated
  9. Just wondering if anyone has been on the Kings lately and if it has a lot of trash floating on it. Thanks in advance for the info.
  10. Tom, It's me. You will need a Arkansas license. I believe you can purchase a MO/AR combo for the lake. Keep in mind the length limit is 12 inches in AR. but you can't bring those 12 inchers back across the line. I will have more info before you leave. Jeff
  11. Bill Babler...A GIANT thanks for the maps!
  12. Bill.Real nice Spot.
  13. I don't want to hijack this post just thought it might be in NE Iowa by one of your earlier posts. "In the 1970's he and his buddy Harold started flyfishing on the trout streams of Northeast Iowa. " I have family in NE Iowa.
  14. Ex-Iowegian...What 125 acre lake in Iowa would that be?
