-
I know you pain... I blowed two disk in my back in NOV. Had the operation in FEB and Surgeon said "do nothing but sleep, eat, and rest till May... Trust the surgeon and you will get well sooner.. Sorry to hear your out of commission ... Will miss your reports... Take care and let us know your progress...

Great link rps !!!! I had lost the link -- Thanks !!! I try to read it at lest once a year -- Good info......
-
Sure...(LOL) IF you can show me on a map where, in the lake, the "O" hole is and the "Twin Towers" are and the "Christmas Parade" are located... Because, you need to know this kind of data to understand the notes....
-
When you spend 28+ years fishing the same lake and keep good notes-- A pattern becomes clear... Give or take a week, each year the fish are doing the same thing.. Of course floods & droughts will change where the fish will be but, the fish will still be doing their thing.. Thanks to Hammer time for the great info on jigs and jig fishing techniques....
-
I have the older model of this one... I can have the "black" light or a diffused white light... The only time I have had to use the "black" light is on EXTREMELY clear water-- I.E. the lakes I fished in California and at times on Table Rock... If the water has "any" stain to it, the diffused white light has not spooked the bass... As your handle is bassfisher; I assume you are looking for a light for night time bass fishing..??
-
Must be an "old timer" secret spot... I have searched all my archives and notes and can't find a reference to "devils point"......
-
I got that map the first year I moved here 1986... Buildings and Docks ETC, come and go but, the lake stays.... If anyone has a newer map- check and see if it still shows the fishing dock.....

-
No new PM's here.... Sorry I didn't see "LuckyCraft" the first time.....
-
ALL Wal-Mart's carry night crawlers in their sporting goods area.......

This time of year it could have been Mushroons.... (LOL)

I'm guessing some type of fish ????? " 9 keepers and 2 shorts " ???

zarraspook replied to zarraspook's topic in Stockton Lake

NOT ALL were keepers but, In the last 3 years I have put 40+ walleye, 70+ Crappie, and lost count of Bass & Bluegill with the Chartreuse back one... on Stockton.. My son uses both colors on Beaver but, the purple back one works better for him on Beaver....

On Mon, 4/11/16, Missouri Department of Conservation <MOConservation@public.govdelivery.com> wrote: Cape Fair angler catches state-record white bass Congratulations to James Wright on setting the state record by catching a 3-pound, 4-ounce white bass on Table Rock Lake.STONE COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reports James Wright of Cape Fair became the most recent record-setting angler in Missouri when he hooked a white bass on Table Rock Lake on a trotline. The new “alternative method” record white bass caught by Wright on April 6 weighed 3-pounds, 4-ounces with a length of 18 3/4 inches. Wright was using shad for bait to try to catch catfish, but instead he caught a state-record white bass.“I was in my new boat baiting hooks on a trotline, and out of nowhere something hit the line hard,” Wright said. “I grabbed the line and yanked it, and then the fight was on. I finally got it in the boat after about three minutes and was totally shocked to see that it was a white bass.”Wright added that he wasn’t sure if it was state record so he contacted MDC immediately.“Once MDC confirmed that the fish was a state record I was so excited,” he said. “This was my dad’s and my dream. I just can’t believe it came true! This is by far the biggest white bass I have ever caught on a trotline. I plan on having it mounted so I’ll never forget catching a fish like that.”MDC staff verified the record-weight fish using a certified scale in the town of Galena.“2016 is shaping up to be a year for state-record fish,” said MDC Fisheries Programs Specialist Andrew Branson. “We have already had six new records so far, which is more than an entire year sometimes. The mild weather we have had so far this year means more anglers are fishing, and catching big fish.”Wright’s recent catch set the state record for white bass in the alternative methods category.Missouri state-record fish are recognized in two categories: pole-and-line and alternative methods. Alternative methods include: throwlines, trotlines, limb lines, bank lines, jug lines, spearfishing, snagging, snaring, gigging, grabbing, archery, and atlatl.Conservation makes Missouri a great place to fish.
