So tomorrow the SPA schedule says 0 all the way down on TRD. So the projection is no generation for 24 hrs? The jig technique under these conditions is a jig and float? I prefer bouncing jigs off the bottom what size for that method tomorrow and what area will produce fish. Also not comfortable with no flow and boating past fall creek. Any thoughts are appreciated. I prefer not to bottom fish with baits tomorrow but that might be what it takes. BRBF

Im not going to jump in on the stupid bait debate. I think trophy areas are nothing but a restriction on my freedom to catch and release unharmed with any kind of lure I want. I digress (but not without comment I'm sure). The color of jig that limited our boat out on was 1/8 oz tri green (my partner fished) 1/8 oz ginger (for me), both caught fish but I seemed to have to work much harder then him. He even caught a 17" rainbow in front of White River Fish Company. Most fish were not on bank but about 15-20' from it in about 7-10 of water. We were productive sunday, but I don't understand how you guys caught any fish saturday p.m. I couldn't keep moss off my bait for 5 seconds. Opted to drink beer on the dock instead of waste my time flicking moss off my stuff.

If the water level is back up. And you want to tie up to not constantly fight the current you will see some folks who tie up to trees along the shoreline. This prevents the dangerous condition of pulling your boat under. Fish on the bottom particularly if no cloud cover.

How To Spool A Spinning Reel

Thanks I have been asking this question for some time. Is there any information on amount of pressure the line should have on it while spooling? -
Bill Beck for both bodies of water or Babler

Good job Zander. Maybe throw in flourescent lettering so we can see across the lake that it is different than BASS stickers.

You might try Exide Nautilus Gold. http://www.exide.com/products/marine_rv/nautilus_gold.html These are quality and you can look them up on the internet. Not sure the specification demensions. Marine Repair Center in Springfield is where I just bought mine. Pro-Guide seems to have their name sold on everyone locally, they might offer heavy discounts to tournament or guide heavy hitters not sure but would guess since everyone seems to be sold on them.

Maybe I will see you saturday. I might be taking the kids out for some minnow dunking around turnback creek. Send me a PM with your phone number.

Fall Creek Condo Bank Improvement

I'm sure after they sell all of the develpment (ie all units) they dissolve the corporation or LLC anyway and there is probably nothing to sue. Quality designs, materials, and contractors are priceless. You get "a deal of a lifetime" on a new unit and there is a reason why you got such a deal. BTW I heard you can't sell a time share anymore. My friend was working for a very big one on Table Rock and these puppies were packaged up and sold just like mortages and guess how many banks want to buy them now. -
I am rolling out of my chair. I hope someone got pictures of this 3 hour tour. I was at home with kids. More power to you fellas.

Just curious where anyone would go with two kids tomorrow? What kind of fishing to have the most success? I am thinking crappie fishing with minnows (least likelyhood of getting hooked) at Stockton Greenfield area. Any thoughts are appreciated. Just to nice not to enjoy the outdoors. Oh yea we will fish out of a boat.

Lead Ban In All National Waterways Even Missouri 2010

I am glad you have so much faith in the federal government. Our quality of life is going to be so good soon. Better than god intendended I'm sure. Did you turn off your lights Saturday night? Because it was witnessed that Al Gore didn't bother. -

Did you read post #32? The same thing will happen to GM. The government will force them to make cars very few people want or will buy. What they need to do is offer incentives to people who CHOOSE to produce non-lead fishing equipment before they ban it. Or at least subsidize those who make them out of something non-lead. -
At that price I would not only tell him no, but heck no.

Now don't get all upset because of my poking fun at "Inconvient B.S". I am clearly in the minority on many issues these days and it doesn't bother me. If they think this will really solve the environmental issues and they can prove it will. I'll just get all warm and fuzzy with my new tungeston or whatever mystery new material jig head for my gitzits. -

Perhaps we should just ban people right along with jigs . -
Looks like it launches and trailers easy as well. What is the powerplant?

http://www.ky3.com/news/local/39523862.html The point was I have a hard time believing hypocrites who have not done the right thing but tell me to give up jig fishing. We are not talking mercury in the streams we are talking small fishing lures. And BTW driving my automobile does NOT POLLUTE. It emites greenhouse gases (non toxic) including water vapor and CO2 both known non-pollutants they also come from your mouth. So save that line of crap. -
Awesome. I thought of the same thing. Then I can go on a weight lose reality show for a chance at some money.

I'm not worked up about this. Believe me it's laughable until you think where this kind of logic goes next. Some poor guy can't sell his motorcycles in Cassville because they have a few lead parts on them. What a joke. The next thing they will make sure we have safety scissors in our house so we don't get hurt or allow our kids to get hurt (child neglect). Absolute absurdity. This same generation in charge of these restrictions allowed the planet to get polluted with all kinds of crap and now we need to knee jerk to get rid of little lead jigs. How about mass use of fertilizers or pesticides or perscription pills flushed down the potty? Take care of the major problems prior to 1/100th oz jigs. Oh and Chief: If there is soo much lead at the bottom of the rock why don't you go down there and retrieve it and re-sell it. Have you seen the price of a dozen sinkers? You could make some quick cash in these economic time. It really wouldn't take that long if you focused on popular fishing spots likely to hold most of the tons your refer to. -
I wish I could get rid of 20 lbs. My guide on the White lost 50 lbs in 6 months. I think he quit eating what the guests eat and started walking a mile or two before breakfast. Kudos your your accomplishment.

I like to throw tube baits with lead jig heads on all of these waters when I float. I will post whenever and however I want. In the big picture this is a bunch of crap. And it's no excuse for Yellowstone either. A few lead jig heads is the least of the enviromental problems. Good for Illinois I don't fish there. -

Why the hell would a dove or a duck think that lead tastes good? They do have taste buds and I have grown up around poultry my whole life and I can watch them purposle\y avoid a single piece of wheat or soy or rocks because they don't want to eat it. This is all bull sh*t too. The only reason they don't like lead is that wounded birds might get eaten by eagles or god forbid a red tail hawk that we see every 1000 sq feet these days eats a dead bird and gets sick. Back to the original point of my post which was this is another example of a goverment program with good intentions that strips away too many freedoms. Seriously taking away split shot sinkers and jigs? This sounds like COMMUNIST RUSSIA. Hell eventually CHINA might have more freedoms than us. And to Al's point why have unenforceable restrictions anyway. Probably be a $1000 fine and one of us lucky souls will get caught and screwed over this nonsense. I know that many people on here say I care about water fish and birds so I don't really mind. Then finally we get to well if you really care then you shouldn't catch the little fishies. Make no mistake people behind these efforts want fishing banned altogether this is just a step in that direction. -

You don't wait for the market to produce a better product. You mandate date it so they produce what people don't want but get anyway. Lead is used because it is mallable. Maybe gold or silver will replace it
