Fished today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. landing only a few rainbow. The reports I had received on Thursday were that fish were biting well in front of Kanankuk Camp trolling with anything shiney. I landed only one stocker right after filling up with gas at Scotty's. This area was not biting well today anyway. The most productive place I fished to day was in front of the old Eden Roc Motel dock located across from Rockaway. I looked real close at the dock, but saw no signs of Trav. Anyway, the wife caught one fish while finishing what looked like a 300 page book. So that was nice. I landed 4 stockers which were all returned with huge treble hook marks on their mouths. Not the best day in a while and there was very little flow today irregardless of how many generators were running.

It is not that we don't believe in GW. The amount of warming as Sparkleminnow has pointed out is minimal and has yet to be proven that it is manmade. Face it lots has been done on pollution. Factories use to dump directly into streams and they do not under most circumstances. We all hate they did and don't want to ruin our streams and lakes. However what policies toward GW lead to are: extra taxes on things like driving restrictions on amounts of electricity (I happen to like my Air Conditioning I don't know about you) restrictions on lifestyle choices like meat and dairy It is real easy to say I want to do something about it like riding the bus or your bike. What policy makers really want is massive changes in our freedoms and if you don't believe that then drink Kool Aide and vote Obama.

The only thing a vp can do is screw it up. Neither did that. Now it is up to McCain to beat the ACORN community activist himself. Problem is people are desperate to grab on to anything similar to Germany in the 30's. We received a flyer from Obama in the mail yesterday and all it said (in big words for the elderly) is he will fix almost everything with no specific plan at all. Very scary.

I see nothing in the Wildlife Code about restrictions on numbers of rods. I also see that trotlines, limb lines and jugs are not prevented. I will caution you that the daily possession is 5 trout total and only 1 being brown. Browns under 20 inches are to be released immediatly unharmed. It looks like Congress failed to reform this because their pockets were being lined by money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Lots of money was flowing into the ACORN project in Obama's Chicago. Lots of money into Charlie Rangle's harlem district. Money Greed and failed oversight and regulation by Congress not the executive branch. 90% of mortages and no darn oversight. Bend over taxpayer.

I prefer one as well so you can feel the line on two fingers as twosets pointed out. Sometimes it is a very lite bite and you need to be ready to set the hook. Then if lots of water generation you need to distinguish between bouncing off the bottom and bites. Just my 2 cents. Others may disagree.

Been out of pocket. 8:45-1:00 p.m. with the wife. I almost felt sorry for the 8 fly fishermen circled in around each other like a school yard fist fight. I would think a trip to the trout park would be a better investment of time.

American voters want people in office who are more "like them" and this is exactly why they will vote for someone who does say they have changed their positions rather than someone who is just defensive about stupid decisions or votes or statements they have made in the past.
