I bought a tracker boat with an 80 hp 2 stroke Mercury motor 1987 model. I have no owners manual (which I need to fork out he money and buy) and I am wondering what issues regarding fall and winter I need to watch out for. It was owned by a detail oriented person, that being said, what service should I have this fall/winter and where? I will store it outside in the elements and wish to fish it this winter.

That is exactly the one I have but it is about 20-30 years old. I can't seem to get the temperature down even when my vents are closed off. I do use a full chimney of lump wood charcoal.

Smoked some b-back ribs sunday using the 2-2-1 method. Would prefer not using foil and smoking longer. Any suggestions. Also would like help on Spare Ribs. My smoker is kind of hard to regulate temperatures below 225.

Has anyone had dinner at the Keeter Center? Brunch there is excellent. Candlestick is about the view of the Landing. They have a new chef and owner I understand. Anything on the Landing is going to be 15% higher than anywhere else because of the rent they are paying. Cantina Laredo has been very good 5 out of 6 times we have been there. The other time was awful service and fair food. Maybe I should have had 3 Margaritas (they are great) and I wouln't have cared about the food. There was a place featured in the News-Leader I think called Jacks Place??? Not sure and he is a retired major league b-ball player with a heck of a prime rib sandwich. On the top floor of a hotel??? Have not tried it but supposed to be good. Outback (not the national chain) on Hwy 76 has good steaks. Not cheap. But good.

We are going to St. Louis this weekend to see a Cardinals game. The kids are going and we will spend a day at the zoo and would like to eat Friday night on the Hill. Saturday night after the game we will probably eat downtown. Please help with suggestions. Money is not much of a factor since this is our summer vacation.
