One more question. With the current or against?

Benjisdad: I have been taking several trips to taneycomo and not yet fished trolling spoons. Other than color of spoons what can you tell me about your success either trolling or casting. On trolling boat speed and length of line. Casting any help at all. I am taking my best friend this saturday and want to put him in the best position to catch fish. 50-70 fish on. Cool. Thanks for any help.

There are several places you could bank fish or fish from public fishing piers or docks. They are located on Taneycomo at Roark Creek and further up toward Hollister Bridge at the Branson Campground on the other side of Branson Landing at the Bass Pro Shop end. You will want to use bait on the bottom more than likely at these spots. I am sure you will get more responses then mine but I fish from a boat at this location and see a fair amount of fish caught by people fishing there.

Has anyone been on Taneycomo lately? Just wondering before I come down this weekend what the water looked like and if any particluar techniques other than bait might be working. Thanks

The real problem is that they teach their kids it's ok to take something from someone that has worked really hard for it . So the theives multiply at exponential rates. Good thing the little Johnnys aren't getting a paddling in school when they get caught stealing pencils and candy. Theives are the worst scum in the world. Worse then the bottom of the dock.

After comments here sounds like an a whoopin might be similar assult to shooting better check with an attorney or others here that give free legal advice. I still think the motion sensored game camera will catch them in the act. Even if you just get a face shot local law enforcment has more then likely dealt with the criminals anyway. P.S. My friend's swimming pool was full of them after the flood gates were opened. I guess they came down from table rock to his pool at the landing??

Are these used effectively for brown trount on lower taneycomo? If so any information would be appreciated.

Maybe this is an opportunity to manufacture and sell a gas cap that will lock that currently is not available. Sounds like lots of people would buy one for $25-$50 to keep their investment safe.

Here a couple of ideas. 1) mount a video camera so you can record the boat number of the theft, these are expensive though and require electricity 2) at least get you a motion activated game camera from bass pro outlet store for $100 normally used for deer, but I bet it would work here as well 3) add a little electricity around that filler cap I bet if a few of em get shot the number of incidents goes down As for not being able to leave a boat on the lake anymore that just plain sucks and I don't think we should have to live like that. Constantly in fear of and bowing down to criminals. Load up boys.

Bigfish: I found a map I think at the Mo Dept Conservation that shows all brush piles on the lake. Look it up.

If I am correct it looks as though South Chicago could use some more legal gun carriers. Illegal gun crime in Obama's district is out of control. How has he taken care of that ?
