thanks for the report.... be down in another week ...... can you say which half of the pomme arm you were on? any shad die off with the ice going out of the coves thanks

lake Weiss in Alabama has a reproducing stripier population which i think may be the only one in the country.... The biologist think they go up the coosa river to lay eggs but are still studying them to figure out how they do it.... Of course the crappie fisherman are not real happy with that..

from the dam down too wheatland area it was around 30ft a lot of bait from 10 to 20ft...... didn't set any lines because of the brutal heat last week and thinking the oxygen level for hooked fish may not be to good.... did catch some crappie busting small fry on top in our cove in the evening.....

coming down for a week too dog sit for the relatives and wondering if anybody had any ideas of places to start. mostly jug lines

have been catching white bass in the wheatland area trolling.... last weekend they had been surfacing.... 9 to 11 inch fish.. limit both times good luck

We were on lake Texoma a few years ago and had gotten on the stripers when two jet skis ( water maggots ) came buzzing in close and drove the school back to the bottom.... we saw the guide reach down for a rod with a 2 oz egg weight.on it . we just kind of looked at each other and thought this may be interesting but they didn't come back .. just sayin

For what this is worth. Some of the bait shops around Truman lake Missouri cant get any cut shad from their normal suppliers to the south because of new regulations on taking shad out of lakes and using for commercial use.... -

If this any help. martins flat is where a lot of people troll. they also cast around the north buoy which comes up to four foot of water at normal pool from a big drop off. casting around docks is also good. wheatland area has some good water to troll as well as docks and some coves to fish.not sure if the water will be cool enough to fish since 80 degrees is our cut off point to safely release muskies with out to much stress good luck

I KNOW THE FEELING ABOUT MUSKIES THEY WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY. MIGHT AS WELL ADD ANOTHER FISH TO FISH FOR AND JUST STEP OFF THE EDGE.
