  1. I work in Seattle and it's crazy up here right now. Parade is tomorrow. I thought the game was great (from a Seahawk fan point of view). This town has been literally starved of any championship celebration for years and I am happy for the fans. Don't be surprised to see them back in next years game.
  2. For lakes, its gotta be the Rebel Pop-R. For streams it's Trophy-Fishr's home made jigs.
  3. Welcome to the site !!! Lots of info shared here.

May as well give her the 3$ now and get it over with.... Good luck and take some pics.
  8. I like those hand painted jigs we threw on Crooked Creek. For largemouth, gotta love the pumpkin seed salty crawls.
  9. Troph, You need to do an advanced scouting trip on CC before I come down this summer..hope all is well
  10. Snowed yesterday at our house. Had 1 day over 55 degrees since December. Ughhhhh
  11. PM sent...As a favor, could you make me a couple more jig'n'crawls? That is the best lure I have EVER thrown.
  12. Charles, that is AWESOME. Nice paint and great fish. I wish I was down there hooking up with a couple no matter what the size. Take care and Hello to your wife from JoAnne and myself
  13. BINGO. I use that stuff for lots of things. Wear a mask and rubber gloves and do a test spot in a hidden area in case the paint composition on your motor has magnesium in it. I use it to take off the copper grime on my brothers drum cymbals. Turn out looking new. Remember, try a small area first. Go easy and be in a ventilated area.
  14. I am definitely with the beer suggestion....but another is Slice potatoes in 1/4 to 1/2 in layers, rub with olive oil or if available, like the Chief uses, bacon grease and salt and pepper to taste. Grill over the hot part of the fire until they are a little crisp on both sides then put on the "cool" side of the grill to finish cookig. 5 Minutes before the entree is done, cover with slices of your favorite cheese..I like provolone and pepper jack. Eat it like a steak. Meat and Potatoes...cant go wrong!
  15. Best Jig n Craw combo I have ever used. Tell Cindy hello
  16. Glad to hear your getting some rain. Was down a couple of weeks ago and it was as HOT as I have been in 10+ years. The creek is constantly changing. The "Hole" where we fished with y'all last time is gone WAHHHHHH. Waded downstream and found some really nice holes with plenty of fish. I wish I would have brought a Pop-R with me as there were some nice ones in the shallows just below the areas where the cool spring fed creeks meet with Crooked Creek and they were busting at what I am assuming were small minnows as there were tons of them everywhere. And dont worry, you'll get the 3# next time.
  17. I'll do my best...will be there in a couple of weeks. Maybe it will follow me there.
  18. Just in case someone hasn't seen this.......
  19. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Awesome pics. Cant wait to get back to the Ozarks
  21. Nice fish Charles. Tell your better half Hello. Hope to "hook up" with y'all soon. Take Care
  22. Maybe its a case of being "home sick". I have lived most of my life in the south and have a lot of family there. Dad used to take me fishing in the small Ozark creeks every weekend. Good memories. The fishing up here is great. I have never fished the rivers you mentioned as I like small mountain streams (like the Ozarks) and the outstanding scenery. My wife and I will often hike miles to fish them and even if they arent biting, the solitude, scenery and chatting with my best friend is a great time.
  23. Thanks for the info Dan. Now I just need to get down there and try it out for myself. I have a big itch to do so. See you soon........
  24. Very well said. May God place his hands on your community to comfort those so tragically affected by this storm and for placing people such as yourself on this Earth.
