This is more complicated than it looks.. Be wary if you jumble the steps. By the time I had figured out that I messed up the steps I had already lost 3 beers under the dock (they wouldn't stay on the hook), swallowed 2 dozen minnows (and was decidedly NOT feeling the BUZZ I expected), and had 4 more minnows swimming in my one open beer can (cause my wife got ahold of the directions and thought she could do it "better").. If I hadn't stop when I did I would have confused step 3 with step 1 and drown the wife! Of course, who has time to read all the advice in the first post? lol I know, I know.. Thousands of starving comedians and all.. lol Thanks for posting the tips for us, Bucks Hot Dad...

He local and outlying craigslist posts, call all the local pawn shops (and all the pawn shops you can, any place within 100 miles that might be a buyer for it).. File a police report, but don't rely on the cops to do all this research.. Best of luck to you!

Naw, these fellas (Vette and Solus) have been kind enough to take me in their fancy boats to LOZ.. That lil guy is my latest "prize" catch from there.. lol

And a little freakin' notice would be nice! But I'm your huckleberry, I promise! Funny though, I bailed on Vette this past wednesday because I was sick.. then Wrench calls me on that same afternoon and says he's headed to Bennett. So I "bail" on two fishing buddies over the same flu on the same day! And now they are both on here jibing me for it! Spose I got it comin... lol Boy, I got some catchin' up to do! I promise I'm not a total loser guys, i'll make it up to ya! So, about them big Niangua Rainbows and Browns? What would you consider BIG? Largest I have ever caught was a 5 lber, and it was at the public access and was an obvious stocked trout, so I hardly want to count that... However, this is a photo of the largest trout I caught on the open stream this year, it was a brown around 15 inches.. Slim, but healthy and very angry.. (and yes, I know I kinda had my finger in his gills.. He made it back into his hole just fine and I hooked him a week later...) Other than that I have come across rainbows and browns in the 2- 3 1/2 range (18 to 22 inches) in the past, but very rarely. You guys?

You'd be suprised how cheap them two can be bought.. Bwah haha ha The third one, Solus Vero, he's a little tougher to pin down... But he'll work for peanuts too. lol

Happens every year actually.. Kids get these things and they get loose, forage for food and manage to last.. Until the first few cold days. Poor Lizard, to think that some poor south american kid worked his butt off to catch that thing and sell it for a penny... (Naw, most are grown in captivity for markets around here)

I'm down like a clown Charlie Brown.. Even got the (16ft, aluminum) transportation all ready to go.. (though I do want wrench to check over my little johnnyrude for me, seems like it only runs on "ultrarich") When? Maybe wrench and I should come up ad hit the current with you, get a feel for how you do what you do.. ? How about next Wednesday (here or there)? Wrench keeps missing me on Wednesdays, maybe if we plan one?

Okay, I think I got this flu kicked and the bronchitis is on it's way out.. Time to break out the waders and get the fly rod (and ultralight) ready... Brownieman, you seem like my kinda guy.. Indeed, even happened to fisherman extraordinaire Babe Winkleman (on camera) once.. He had the trailer come unhooked from the truck once too.. Watching him push it bck up to the ramp with the boat was pretty funny... Course, it's always funnier when it happens to someone else! lol

Nice bird, nice pics.. But, now that she has invaded your fishing AND hunting trips, whatta ya gonna do for some quality alone time? lol (my wife smacked me as I typed this aloud) dude, you think there is any way she is gonna let him use a photo of her "in the field"? Here's my guess: there may be an "in the field" photo, but this ain't it. This photo was taken after she got home and cleaned up a bit (cleaned off her boots and brushed out her hair at minimum) a lady thinks that any photo worth taking is worth taking right (bird and bow propped against haybale, clean outfit, etc) can you blame her? She seems like a classy gal. (don't nobody take offense now, I'm just funnin'... Glad she got out with ya and got her first bird, now she'll have the fever!)

Hey, I don't see any crappie photos! Interesting , Chief.. What's the goal, what benefit does it give to the lure? More flash or something? Wouldn't this mid effect the swim or lope of the lure?

I concur with this, though I have been to sick to go recently.. The gauge looks a though it's running a bit high, but very fishable... Let's us all know how you do?
