Where are the closest streams to wade for Smallies near Kimberling City and whats good lures to use? Thanks to any and everyone in advance,this OKIE needs some help!!

Let me rephrase,I guess im talking about the river below Taneycomo where i hear the Trout fishing is good.I am used to fishing the river below BullShoals from the Dam to about Calico Rock.I usually fish powerbait,corn and nightcrawler on a split shot type rig(single hook w/ splitshot 1.5 to 2 ft. above hook)This rig catches quantities of eating size trout.Iusually catch sculpin and camp out on known Brown Trout holes for trophy fish as well as countdowns or suspending Rogues. I am going to be in the Branson area for the fourth so I need some advice on the trout situation.I'll have a 16ft flat bottom w/ a 15hp merc as my vessel.Any comment would be most apprerciated Thanks , ndwoods !

Believe me ,i'd love to live over there somewhere.I've lived my life in the Tulsa area(Broken Arrow native) and i love it here too but the the Ozarks really is God's country.I guess thats why I love my folks cabin near Spavinaw,Ok so much.We've had the place since 72 and I consider it my home away from home!

Thanks everyone! Yes Keystone is about a 15 minute drive for me and its up right now 23 ft and climbing.They are letting tons of water go so if you waded now you would end up in the Mississippi in about a day LOL!

Northeast Oklahoma lakes: Grand Lake O' The Cherokees , Hudson , Ft.Gibson , Tenkiller(Jimmy Houston's home lake),Eufaula , Skiatook and Keystone.Come over some time and i'll take y'all fishin!! Out of these lakes Hudson is my favorite.Big Largemouth and Spots

Is this fished similiar to the White below Bull Shoals ? Drifting Power Bait, corn or worms on a split shot rig?Ill be over on 4th of July.Also ,if any locals need an Okie to go bass fishing with em at Table Rock that weekend , i would be available!

We have a cabin around Spavinaw ,Ok.Thats not too far from Joplin.There have been bear sightings for years in that area .There is also alot more cougar sightings as well.

Howdy folks!My name is Brian Beck and i reside in Sand Springs,Ok.(a suburb on the west side of Tulsa).I joined so i could correspond with y'all about Table Rock mainly.My inlaws just bought a place around Kimberling City so i will be over from time to time.I also fish the White below Bull Shoals 2-3 times a year since the 80's.I have a cabin on Lake Hudson in N.E. Okla.about 7 miles from Grand lake dam in Langley.I grew up Bass fishing Hudson ,Grand ,Spavinaw and Eucha all close to the cabin .Most of you tourney guys have fished these lakes at one time or another im sure so any questions about these areas i can answer or get an answer for you.After all these beautiful Flint Ridges and Hollers are your western foothills of the Ozarks
