  1. Definition of "GENERALLY". Any area within a hundred mile radius....
  2. Sorry all, but this is for real. "G" Spot"..... my wife and I's favorite spot on the "G"asconade. Serious...
  3. Howdy Rich! Of course you know where I'm from. Do you ever fish Smithville for walleye? Got a good friend of mine who showed me a few spots.
  4. Chief... just saw a not so good report here too (for down there). Pretty big cold front moving in. Weather's gonna be worse up here. If it doesn't work out (or even if a few of you guys try it) I WILL be down there soon. Still gonna watch the weather though! Heck, even if I just snuck down there with a small group fishing, I still want to be involved in a "meet and greet" trip too with lots of people involved. You know the saying... good things happen to those who wait!
  5. Buzz... how long of a paddle do you use? I weigh 487 pounds......................... Weather's sounding better! 50's are fine. I'll stay in touch with you guys and I'll set my Koolie Kup out so I don't forget it.
  6. Buzz... I'm not used to being in the front, but that's O.K. If in front... I'm just a side stroker. Pry stroker I guess is the right term. Anybody beer drinkers or anything else? I know we have kids along... let me know the deal on that - I respect anyone's thoughts on this.
  7. Heck... I'll answer anything. Tired of being a Black Bullhead!
  8. Crippler... have you ever used it out in Colorado? North of Parachute... Meadow Lake. Scenery A-plus. Big elk herd...
  9. Crippler... had an incident with spaghetti once. Nuff said...
  10. Just looked at the Weather Channel. Partly Cloudy and 55. Works for me. High sun ain't good! I'm certain I'll be there Buzz. I need to smell the water. You guys know what I mean...
  11. O.K. guys... I'm watching the weather. It's early, but they're saying a high of 38 up here Sat. I know the weather's different down there. I'll watch the long range stuff on the Weather Channel & the NWS. I'll concentrate on Neosho reports. Probably a Joplin or Springfield report. Got three titanium rods held together with 16 screws keeping my neck together. Cold (especially with wet) ain't a good thing. I really want to meet you guys... hell, my wife wants me out of here bad (wonder what the heck that means?) As long as it's anywhere near 50 and not too wet... I'll be there! Buzz, don't want to mess you up on not having a partner. My heart is commited now... like I said, my mind will commit Wednesday late afternoon or early evening. Enjoyed you and Chief's pics on the Spring... and hey... post 'em on the Indian Ocean forum for all I care! Keep in touch...
  12. Future moneymaker there Pa!
  13. There was a good article about him in the KC Star not too long ago. Go to kansascity.com and look for it in the archives.
  14. Mizzou squeezed one out against Marquette today. They now get Memphis on Thursday. TOUGH task! "IF" we win that one they play saturday. Hope no one minds watching me go through #@*! wondering what the score is on saturday!
  15. Saw this story a while back. Grandpa caught it on his granddaughters pole.
  16. Marquette had 37 or 38 free throws. We had 13 or so. We overcame that, but give me a break. I watched the dang game! We were one of the least fouling teams in the nation this year. NCAA and the refs keep favoring the Big East and ACC. Memphis is gonna be tough though.
  17. I've also got Louisville over Pitt to win it all. Carolina and UCONN also in the final four. Wake, Fl. St., and Illinois hurt me the first round. After seeing Memphis yesterday I think they might take UCONN's spot. Hope Mizzou gets by Marquette today. If they do they'd have to play perfect to beat Memphis.
  18. What's everyone think of the tournament so far?
  19. Looking forward to floating with you Buzz. This forum is so great... being able to meet a bunch of good old ozark boys who enjoy fishing and are nice enough to invite others to take part in their passion.
  20. Let me know what's going on guys!
  21. Creek Wader... just the greenery and the pics of the riffles would get any of us frothing at the mouth this time of year. The only time I've seen the Maries is when i'm heading south on 63 hwy. by Westphalia. You're right , I'm usually heading to another well known stream. Look's like fun though if you were a local or were gonna spend a few days around Jeff City. Good fishing to ya bud...
  22. Thanks Buzz... I'll keep on the thread. Was wondering what CDC said about grouping up with the trucks. Wherever I need to meet you guys let me know. I've got a F-150 FX4 that will only hold five, unless the weathers so good someone wants to ride in the bed... I'm hopeing the temps are in at least the 50's. My bionic neck don't like it much colder! I really want to put some names with faces though!
  23. Oh Man... Dylan's got an agent! This is gonna be $$$$! Keep posting Chief on the details (if anything changes or whatever). 9:00 Sat. the 28th. Can't wait. PM me or what the heck, 816-454-1506. Jerry
  24. Forgot to ask you Chief... from what I've seen in your photo's... how much is it gonna cost me to float with Dylan?
  25. Chief... I'd like to join you guys on this one. I've got canoes I can use but they're both down in Shell Knob. Does anyone have room for a city boy yearning for a chapped thumb or two? Also, how long is this float? I see the Lime Kiln access on the maps but don't see the take-out you guys are talking about. From what I can gather, Lime Kiln to Tipton is roughly 9 and a half miles. Is Pipeline before Tipton? I'd be down in your neck of the woods Friday night and would be at Lime Kiln to meet you all there. Looks like (for now) the weathers gonna stay in this trend. If not, rain gear or insulated waders are a wonderful thing! Just wondering, but is Pipeline accessed by Scenic Road or even Hickory Drive? Give me a holler Chief (or you too Buzz if you see this first). Hope to meet some of you on this one...
