I fished Osage a lot about 15 years ago , had one day I caught/released 5 bass over 4 pounds out the same hole ! I use to know that creek like the back of my hand

I remember back in 98 or 99 ? We use to fish at the Richland bridge and it was actually deep there , a friend caught an 8 pound plus Largemouth ! We use to catch decent sized catfish out of there too , but yeah like you said when the new bridges went in it hurt the fishing big time !

Going to float from a few miles above twin ( a friends land ) to private take out point a few miles below , what type of gear should I bring ? Crappie ? Bass ? I've never fished that stretch this time of year ! I'm clueless about this stretch this time if year ...

Went to crystal today , caught a dozen good sized bream in about an hour ! Going to try Elmdale Sunday

Elmdale is pretty close to the house as well , but I've never had any luck there either ! But I would be willing to give it another try

I know there is a topic on this about four or five pages back but , I just got a 14 foot Jon boat and I'm itching to fish again ! Crystal lake is about 10 miles from the house , I've struck out everytime I've been out there ! I mainly fish for crappie , are they in typical summer pattern ( deep , brush piles ) ?????? Swepco ? I don't know a thing about this lake ? Are there even any crappie in here ? Bluegill ? If you guys don't want share publicly PM me , any advice would be greatly appreciated !

You can catch walleye down there , it might be good right now ! I've seen people catch them on jigs and minnows , we use go wade down there when we were younger , it's an Eire place , watch out for snakes ...

How does the river look ? Going to try and get out tomorrow , but I am limited to bank fishing , going to try two dollar hole and twin bridges tomorrow ...

Staying at fork until Sunday , we caught 24 between four of us today , in right hours total , caught them around bridges and points , 20-25 feet of water , but we cannot seem to find a constant pattern ? Any advice ? Anyone catching them consistently ?

Managed three crappie last night , had hundreds of baitfish and some good sized shad in the bottom of the school , but fish were few and far between , all were caught above brush in about 40 ft of water ! We did see a huge gator gar swim right through the middle and a big bass , those were the only game fish we saw under there , and not one crappie came anywhere near the light !

What kind of lights do you guys use ? I bought a submersible one years ago and it started melting the plastic inside ! I have one of the floating styrofoam ones but , I've never used it , anyone ever used glow sticks ?
