  1. Fished lakes 9, 31, and 32 for a couple hours. Tried a brush hog, texas rigged salamander and senkos, no bites on 9, 1 small bite on 31 but no fish. Tied on a texas-rigged zoom mag 11 worm, 1/4 ounce weight, 4/0 gam superline ewg and went up to lake 32 about 5:45, caught this one about 5 minutes later just south of the boats, thought i hooked a catfish at first . Length was 23 - 23.5 inches based on measuring my pole when I got home, unfortunately, I didn't have a scale with me this trip. Why oh why do I always wait until just before I have to leave to hit lake 32?....
  2. There's a bunch of Bill Dance bloopers on youtube, that guy has some BAD luck lol. Hooks himself in the nose, foot, and crotch, knocks a couple camera men into the water... I also like his boat bloopers. Gotta hand it to him though, he takes it all in stride.
  3. hehe, the 80 is for catfish , but powerpro is good stuff. I've never targeted smallmouth, but have caught em on the 10 and 30 lb test.
  4. I really like powerpro, I use 10,30,50 and 80 lb in moss green on spinning and baitcast gear and like them all. It looks really dark at first, but don't worry, it bleeds a lot of that color quickly and gets lighter green. VERY sensitive, you can feel a bite even on a slack line. Sometimes I'll use a leader in really clear water, pline cxx 12 for bass or basspro tourney tough 8 mono for smaller stuff, really like both those mono lines, but the pline has a lot of memory for a 12 lb test line. The bass pro 10 lb tourney tough mono is good (and cheap) too, I use it on a crankbait rig, little memory and casts great. I've tried vanish flouro, didn't like it at all, way to stiff for the lb rating. I've heard lots of good things about trilene 100% flouro, I'm going to pick some up and give it a try sometime soon.
  5. Fished lake 16 this morning at 6:45 for an hour or so, one bite, no fish. Fished lake 31 at about 4pm and caught 8 dinky bass and 2 big bluegill on a 5" chart/watermelon senko, wacky and texas weightless rigged. One bass might have broken 2 pounds but doubt it. All were caught on the northwest side from the weed beds. Fished lake 32 a little after 5pm for 15 minutes, 1 bass at 3.4 lbs, caught off the east side, same rig.

  7. It does say on their website that they rent both boats and trolling motors, doesn't say anything about batteries though.
  8. From the latest report I've found dated 3/20: CRAPPIE – Tip: Some anglers are still finding big crappie with small jerkbaits then using jigs or minnows under a bobber to catch more fish. Bagnell Tailwater: Very good on minnows. Lower Osage: Very good on jigs 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Glaize Arm: Good, try jigs or minnows 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Mid-Lake: Good, try jigs 2 to 3-feet deep over brush. Niangua Arm: Very good, try jigs 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Gravois Arm: Good, try jigs or small jerkbaits around brush 12 to 14-feet deep. Upper Osage: Poor, try chartreuse jigs over brush. Osage 60 MM: Excellent on jigs fished under a bobber 2-feet deep in windblown coves. Truman Tailwater: Good on white or chartreuse jigs or minnows.
