On the water @ 7am, off @ 10:30 Started out catching Smallie Jig fish in 18ft off of gravel banks, great overcast day so my brother started throwing top water "Baby Spook" and BAM a nice largemouth about 2.5 lbs, I already had 3 keeper Smallies but I cant pass up Top Water action. I put on a chartruse topped Baby Spook and 2nd cast a 4.5 lb Large Mouth we caught 6 on topwater and 5 Jig Fish , last jig fish LM over 5lb that my Brother caught we only had 2 fish that didnt keep. Great morning on the Rock, Very foggy in early morn. we caught more fish on the bank stretches than on the points this time. Used Brn/Purple jig with yum craw trailer that was orange on the bottom. Fun,Fun Day

Got out @ daylight with my brother who is a Topwater nut, no luck for him, so I threw a 1/2 oz Chompers jig with a Zoom trailer both Green/Pumkin in color out to deeper water and "Bam" a nice 3lb smallie, he got all fired up and threw faster as I brought in fish 2 and 3. On the way to the next spot he quickly put a Jig Combo on one of my extra Rods, he thought I layed it there just for him. His first cast 'Bam" looked great till it broke off, three or four cast later another break off, he thought I planned it. I picked him out another Rod and all was well. We ended up with 12 in the boat about 1/2 were keepers, Fished mainly primary and 2nd dairy pts. in 13 to 23 ft of water only fished a few hrs." Its getting close to game on time" , so change your line. Good luck all

Had my bass boat detailed and it was so great I had him do my deckboat also. Very good service and the stuff he uses coates your boat for a long time and shines right up when you wipe the boat down, mine was done last month and still looks great. Fishinator, Don

Its great to get out with Dad. I miss going with mine. I have been going out in the long creek area and doing well. Look for the bait balls on your graph and you will find the fish in main creek channels. Look for Birds and if you see Loons on the water you are probally in a good area.I caught most of mine on a drop shot (grape color) and my brother was using a spoon. We metered bait from 60ft to 20ft caught most fish between 20 and 30 ft.When the loons dive down the bait will scatter a lttle and come up and the bass are with them, but diving birds are a great indicator also. Good luck! If you can afford to hire a guide it will be a very memorable trip and great knowledge for future trips, I have been out with Bill Babler also and you cant go wrong there he is a wealth of knowledge and a gentleman to boot.Either way you will have a great day just getting out with your dad.

Fishinator replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
Thanks Bill for the great report as always. I was lucky enough to get out today with my brother, the top water fish did not cooperate early but the jig fish was decent, finally about 9:45 they started hitting and kept it up till noon when we had to go.Fished both the spook(me) and a torpedo (brother)on main lake stretches below the 86 bridge and caught over 20 fish about 6 keepers on both chunk rock and bluff banks, when the wind blew it would get better. Great day!! Don Denton aka Fishinator -
Went out this morning in the Dam area, focused on top water early and caught 2 shorts.Switched to throwing war eagle spoons at the fish busting on top and game on. Ended up with about 20 fish by 10am, half keepers.Best action was at the mouth or center of coves over the creek channel.Temp. 83.5 Lots of fun!

Fishing the main Pt. Ledges. I Went last night and only caught 2 very small fish, cool weather coming.

My Brother and I hit the water Wed. morn.@ 5:15 am did not get a bass bite (plenty of bluegill)until 8:15 they seemed to start hitting when they started letting water out of the Dam. We had the boat in 35 to 40ft of water, casting Green pumpkin jigs with the same trailer upto 10 to 15 ft water off of chunk rock banks. Most hits were coming in about 25ft of water and the fish were just picking it up, no hard hits. We fishied till 9:45 and ended up with 7 bass 1 smallie the rest kentucky with 4 keepers, it was very hot. Good luck to all!

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report May 24Th. 2011
Fishinator replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
Went out this morning (Wed.) ,1st cast with a spinnerbait and hello Mr Kentucky 6ft of water. Boated two more from the shallows on a Senco (watermelon). Headed out to the points like Bill said too and Bam in 21ft. of water with a Chompers tube (green pumkin) a nice 3 1/2 lb. smallie and he had friends. We followed the same pattern and ended up with 15 total and about half were keepers. We were fishing the Dam area. Awesome day Thanks Bill for the accurate info. that you post. Don D. Aka Fishinator -
Sams friend was right. My brother and I went to Cape Fair today and caught over 40 crappie (5 bass also). We went up river and were fishing timber on the edge of the main channel. Main channel was between 11 and 17 ft. deep and quickly went up to 4 ft when out of channel. We used a pink jig head 1/8 to 1/4 oz and a white body jig, any white body seemed to work since we ran out of the curl tail ones. Good Luck.

The guy I bought it from evidently put a clear coat automotive sealant on the boat. Now it has to completley be sanded (doing the top only) was going to be $6000.00 plus parts.

Can you give him my # 417-559-2338 Don Thanks
