Fished Beaver Tailwaters yesterday with two guys from OKC. Very foggy morning, but the southern wind cleared that out pretty quick. Lots of visible fish, but many were very spooky. Water was very calm, so long leaders and smaller indicators were the order of the day. Black body/copper rib and grey body/blue rib zebra midges seemed most popular. A few the guys we talked to were doing well on olive scuds bouncing along the bottom. Didn't look like the browns had moved up yet, but there were many seen roaming down from Parker bottoms. Overall a simply beautiful day. Colors are just starting to pop.

Beaver fished well yesterday Dano. Not a ton of people and beautiful weather. Glad you got out either way.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to you guys for putting this together. It was great to see old friends and make new ones. I am still jonesen for more of Cheif's chili and Wheat's hot sauce.......heavenly.

Cast the 3,4, and 5 in the 10 footer option. Out of whats on the market.....I would HIGHLY recommend any of those three. Kev has a 3wt and it is a dream to cast. Very smooth all the way through. Great accuracy. The extra foot is very nice for landing from a boat.

Boat is loaded and ready to rock. Since the Chili is covered.....I will have fresh coffee in the morning and afternoon.

I am pretty sure Phil doesnt hand pick each advertisement. Maybe its a test to see who would be first to start a political thread......

Attended Saturday and fished today. Very good turn out for the show. Good classes and the XGames were a hoot. Fished White Hole to Wildcat today. Fishing was a tad slow.

Scott Branyan and a few other wooden boaters got together yesterday and today over at Bull Shoals. I will definately have my boat at Conclave and would be up for a group trip. Terry, I think the Conclave needs an ares we cane setup the wooden boats. Bet it would draw a crowd.

I tend to agree about people taking "reality" shows seriously. Very sad circumstance......but common sense goes a long way in these situations.

We had one on the Beaver Tailwaters this year to benefit Reel Recovery. The Dam Store hasnt had one in a few years. It seems it would be a bit tough getting the fly fishing companies behind it.
